(A/N: Sorry for posting later than normal, and for the short chapter. I got busy but I hope to get back on schedule now.)
Seconds after the shriek, Hermione ran up to her parents and gave them both a hug. Obviously very excited to see them, but Ana could see the worry on her face when she pulled away from them.
"You don't need to worry Hermione, as long as they are here they are safe. I am also planning on speaking with them after the meeting about other living arrangements. The world will be a very dangerous place the longer things like this are not taken care of," Ana told her while gesturing to the others to take seats wherever they pleased. The other Hogwarts students moved accordingly to make room for Neville and allowing Hermione to sit at the end of their group next to her parents. Looking around, she noticed that Albus hadn't arrived yet. Yet Minerva showed up long before the meeting was due to start.
"Well, guess we'll just have to start without him. Maybe he'll learn something from this," Ana mumbles to herself. Sirius and Remus, who were on either side of her, chuckled.
"Since one of our guests decided not to show up on time, he will have to be caught up when he so chooses to arrive. I will not be waiting on him." Ana started. "First, I would like to mention to all of you that this side of the war is going nowhere as long as we sit here doing nothing but making plans that haven't even made any impact that eases peoples nerves."
She can tell that everyone is questioning that statement so she pushes on, "For example, what was the reason for planning to put guards around the Department of Mysteries? None of you know? That's dangerous business considering in the last war he had a Death Eater as an Unspeakable. While you may know that, that doesn't mean he won't try something more life threatening when the need arises. Has Dumbledore told any of you that volunteered to guard, why your guarding that hall?" She sees a few of her guests shake their heads, she didn't know who all had volunteered but the fact that Arthur was one of them made her very upset. "Arthur, I'm sure that he told you that this would be dangerous and that you could lose tour life doing this. But what he didn't tell you is that this prophecy he wants guarded speaks of the end of Voldemort, the fact that this is supposed to be on the shoulders of MY nephew is something that doesn't and will never sit right with me."
"How do you propose that we alleviate this issue?" Arthur asks.
"Harry needs to be taken to the Hall of Prophecies before his hearing in a few days," she says. "It's not like Fudge can bar his access to the Ministry when he is still a wizard. He's legally allowed to even if he was a squib."
"And I'm guessing your friend in the corner will be helping with that," one of the twins chimes in lightly.
"That they will," Ana answered shortly. "Minimal stopping and he would listen to it and see if it's still active. The keeper should be able to tell if it is still an active prophecy after one of the named has touched it. It all should take less than 30 minutes anyways with an Unspeakable as an escort. "
So far everyone seemed agreeable to that plan, it didn't put anyone in danger and Harry would have a highly trained Unspeakable with his the whole time.
"Now, next order of business," just as she says this Dumbledore waltzes in with a slightly unpleasant look on his face. "Ah, the man that's the reason for our next topic. Finally showing up about 20 minutes late."
"Is there a reason that Severus could not join in on this meeting?" His voice sounded strained as he asked her this question.
Ana got a wicked glint in her eyes that even the twins just paled at the sight of, "Now, why would he need to be here?"
"He is part of the Order and I am the Secret Keeper so I figured he would be able to join me."
"Well that would be hard considering he wasn't invited. No invitation, no entry."
"Why was he not invited? He is a vital member of the Order, we need him."
"We? I don't know who all you include in this 'we', but it surely isn't anyone in this room. Him and his greasy hair can stay at Hogwarts for any meeting I call. Anyways, let's get on with the next bit. And Albus you should really take a seat, I'm sure you won't find this enjoyable so you might as well be sitting."
Ana gestures for Harry to come and sit by her and Sirius, the table extending a little so another chair can be conjured. She pulls out many copies of paperwork that she made sure to have before leaving Gringotts earlier.
"This is completely up to you to share, I only made so many copies just in case you do. They all have Ragnoks seal on them to prove their authenticity."
Harry looked at her, not quite understanding the choice he's being given. Until he looks at the parchment in front of him, he releases a deep exhale. He only looks at them for about 10 seconds before telling her to hand them out. Ana gives a wave of her hand and all of the parchment minus the one in front of Harry gets taken to every person at the table.
It was quiet for a couple minutes a few tears shed by others reading. But it was Hermione who got the bottom first after her initial reactions to the top bit subsided. Her loud outcry wasn't expected and it drew everyone's attention to her. It wasn't until Albus' old body hit the floor that anybody even noticed that someone got up.
