Chapter 9

After a major freak out from Harry in regards to the magical interference part of his medical report, Ana had managed to calm him down, they sent him down to the goblin healers to remove all ailments, potions and the Horcrux and soul leech. Unknown to them on that front was that Harry's magic was the only real thing that was stopping the basilisk venom from destroying the snake venom that Voldemort had used in the ritual to create his body. Due to this over sight and the damage to his own magic from the making of multiple horcruxes his new body will noticeably start deteriorating over the next few months.

Even though they don't know this they still continue to make plans to hinder Voldemort's ability to rise as high as he did last time. Starting right after Harry had slipped on the Lordship rings for Gryffindor and Slytherin.

"This was just a lucky turn of events," Ana said gaining a confused look from Harry but Orion and Griphook could probably guess where she was going with this. "This can move a lot faster now that I don't have to call in the Hufflepuff Regent. You earning the Lordship of both Slytherin and Gryffindor and me having Ravenclaw means that we have majority vote with any changes that need to happen around the school." She explains to Harry. A look of realization came upon his face at that. She looks back over to Griphook, "Can I please see the files for Hogwarts and a copy of the charter?"

Griphook only nodded before using what looked like a muggle intercom to call for another goblin to bring what she had asked for. It was only a minute later that another goblin walked in with a thick file, three leather bound books, and a box. After setting the items on the desk in front of Griphook the said goblin first grabbed the file skimmed over it then handed it straight over to Ana before speaking.

"The file in your hands is the full list of assets for everything Hogwarts related, including the Founders. I trust that you will also be bringing Regent Hufflepuff up to date on the proceedings today regardless of them needing to be here or not." He lined the three books along the front of his desk pointing to each as he listed them off from left to right. "We also have the Book of Names, the Ledger for Hogwarts, and the schools original charter that also has a list of wards somewhere in its pages that are supposed to be activated at Hogwarts all the time. No one else knows the list of wards placed, but there have been plenty of questionable Headmasters since the Founders were in control of the school."

Ana understood his meaning for bringing that up almost immediately, Headmasters are in control of the wards while they are Head of the School. Which means they'll need to find quite a few magical items to power up the inactive wards.

"The box placed in front of you has the keys to the Hogwarts vaults, which includes; Scholarship Vault, Budget Vault, Salary Vault, Founder Vault, Emergency Fund Vault, and File Vault. The file you currently have, is only the one that came from the manager of the vaults, it being such a large variety and very wealthy, Director Ragnok is the one that oversees the proceedings in most cases." Griphook hands over another piece of parchment with the basic contents of each vault that was listed before.

The Scholarship vault contains a large amount of galleons, and the parchment also lists that the last time it had any outgoing funds was back when Great Britain's trade schools were still active. Meaning that no one had been given an aptitude test to enter Hogwarts since the early 1900's. 'No wonder the intelligence levels are dropping so low,' Ana thought to herself. The Scholarship Vault money is only offered to those that had to attend trade schools to learn basics, any that showed greater intelligence but didn't have the money for Hogwarts education would be offered the chance to do the aptitude test and if they passed then they would get a full scholarship or even half depending on their income level.

The Budget Vault also surprisingly has a lot of money still left in it, the last time the money had been used was 1958. Which just so happened to be the time that Albus Dumbledore took over as headmaster.
