Chapter 17

Brenda's P.O.V.

6 days left until prom

I have to go shopping for my accessories. I need shoes, a necklace, and a nice bracelet. I don't want a corsage, I don't know why but I never liked the fact the you had to wear a flower bracelet.

I got in my car and went to the mall alone because Zach was still sleeping for some reason. I didn't bother going in his room because I didn't want to invade his privacy. The car felt really quiet since I didn't have anyone to talk to.

Once I pulled up to the mall and parked my car, I started to walk toward the entrance. When I got in the mall, I searched for a jewelry store. I found one and am not sure what the name was. They had really nice jewelry.

I walked around looking for a nice necklace and bracelet. I finally found a necklace that had a heart on it and there was five diamonds on it. It was good enough to go with my dress. It cost me $35 and I really didn't want a bracelet anymore.

I walked in the house, I heard someone talking upstairs. It was more than one person talking though. I wasn't going to going to interrupt Zach's conversation, it may be important.

I walked upstairs and went into my room. I still heard the voices, the other voice was a girl... Should I be worried? Probably not, it is probably a family member. I decided to take a shower and go to sleep.

Zach's P.O.V.
5 days left until from

Hopefully Brenda doesn't find out, she would be heartbroken. What if she does? She can't find out. She is really fragile. I don't see why Daisy won't stop. I have told her multiple times but she won't stop. I have a girlfriend that I car about a lot. Brenda has changed me. I am not that player anymore, I mean we have been dating for almost three months now and that is my longest relationship yet.

Brenda is so beautiful and she doesn't know it. I don't know what I would do without her, she helps me with my problems. I can't loose Brenda, my life would be screwed without.

Daisy better not ruin Brenda's prom. Brenda is so happy that prom is coming up. She can't stop talking about it, she is even counting down days. I am happy when Brenda is happy. Her smile makes me smile, it contagious.

The doorbell rang which broke me from my thoughts. I got off the couch and answered the door and it was Bella and Cody. I wonder what they are doing in here. I was about to ask them but Brenda came running down the stairs and gave Bella and Cody a hug.

I don't know why but I don't like Cody. Cody seems like a player, like I use to be. Is he trying to steal Brenda from me? He better not or I will mess him up so bad that he won't be able to use the bathroom for months. I am so nice, I know, I get that a lot.

Cody and I did a bro hug thing and Bella and Brenda went upstairs. I wonder what they were up to because they literally ran up the stairs.

Cody and I watched the "Fast and Furious" movies, all of them. That is how long they were here. I was starting to get really hungry. What are the girls doing up there? I am going to ask them if they want pizza for dinner.

Brenda's P.O.V.

Bella and I ran upstairs we needed to talk. And we were going to talk about prom of course. We are both so excited that it is coming up. I can't wait to see who prom queen is. It is most likely going to be Daisy because she is really pretty and popular.

"So how are you and Zach?" Bella asked me.

"Very good, how are you and your family?" I asked not knowing what to ask her.

"Eh, me and Cody have been getting into a lot of arguments lately," she said looking at the ground.

"And why is that? What are this arguments about anyway?"

"I don't know why, but the argument are about you," she said quietly.

"Why are they about me?" I asked really confused.

"Cody really likes you and can't accept the fact that you already have a boyfriend. I hate that about my brother, he thinks he can get anything and anybody he wants, when he wants. I keep telling him he needs to stop because I know you and Zach and going to get married and have kids," she said and I stared at her wide eyed. I mean I am not even think about my future with Zach, why would I be thinking about having kids with him.

"Umm ok. Well do you want to watch a movie?" I asked.

"Sure what do you want to watch?" she asked.

"Expelled," we both said at the same time and just laughed.

"This is why we are best friends," I said.

"Let me just say, Cameron Dallas is hot," Bella said.

A little while later Zach came into the room and asked if we wanted pizza. We said yes of course. I love pizza.

When we finished eating our pizza, Bella called her mom and told her she was going to stay the night at my house. He mom said it was ok, I think it is weird she has to ask to stay at my house but her parents actually live with her...

Bella and Cody each got a room. We have about four guest rooms in this house for some reason my parents bought a six bedroom house. I showered and told everyone I was going to sleep.

I kissed Zach goodnight. Then I gave Bella a kiss on the cheek and told he goodnight and then I gave Cody a hug goodnight.

Here I was, laying in my bed under my comfortable covers. I was half way asleep and then someone came in my room. Someone got in bed with me, I knew it was Zach. I turned and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Zach put his arms around me, it didn't feel like Zach's arms but it was probably because I was tired.

Zach left a trail of kisses down my neck. So I turned and gave Zach a kiss on the lips and told him to go to sleep. He finally did and soon I drifted to sleep.

I woke up in the morning with a pair of arms around me. I rolled over to face Zach. When I turned, I found it want Zach. It was Cody! WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT WAS CODY DOING LAYING IN MY BED WITH ME?! This can't be good.

I literally jumped off my bed screaming. Zach and Bella came in my room looking panicked. Zach saw Cody and gave him a really angry look. Bella looked like she was going to kill Cody, well so did Zach.

"WHY THE IN THE HELL ARE YOU SLEEPING WITH MY GIRLFRIEND?!" Zach screamed using a harsh voice that made me wince.

"I didn't mean to," Cody said acting innocent.

"What are you talking about? You obviously knew someone was in bed with you beaus you left a trail of kissing down my neck," I said feeling really mad and embarrassed since Zach was in the room.

"YOU DID WHAT?!" he screamed using the harsh voice again.

"Well if it makes you any happier, your girlfriend kissed me," Cody said with a smirk.
Zach looked at me and I gave him I'm sorry face.

"CODY GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE AND GO HOME! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN AND STAY AWAY FROM MY GIRLFRIEND!"

Cody and Bella left. Bella apologized about her brother but it wasn't her fault. When the door closed, I was scared because I didn't know how Zach was going to react to me kissing Cody.

"I'm sorry," I said right away.

"It's fine, I know you wouldn't cheat on me on purpose," he said and then went to his room.

He took that easier than I thought. Why though? Zach hasn't been acting like his normal self lately. What is bothering him? Maybe he is in a bad mood, but he wouldn't be a bad mood for weeks. I need to find out what is bothering him. Is he hiding something from me?
