Chapter 18

Prom Day!!!!

Bella came over at 3 so we could get ready. Prom starts at six and ends at twelve. This is going to be so fun. Bella came to my house by herself of course because Zach didn't want anything to do with Cody. Zach had one of his friends come over,I think his name is Daniel. Well Daniel was also Bella's date, which I think is pretty interesting

Bella was doing my hair right now. She wouldn't let me look in the mirror so I don't know what she is doing with it. I looked at my phone and saw it was 4:30. Bella finally finished my hair and starting doing my makeup, she didn't put a lot on me. After she finished my makeup, she helped me put on my dress and necklace. I looked in the mirror and I was surprised. The person in the mirror looked nothing like me. I thanked Bella and then she went on to doing her makeup.

Bella had put some lipgloss on me and put mint eyeshadow on which wasn't even that noticeable. You may think I look ugly by how I am describing this but you actually have to be here to see how I look.

Once Bella finished, it was already 5:45. I grabbed my wrist purse and put my phone, money, and drivers licenses in it. Then Bella and I started to walk downstairs to meet up with the boys. I heard them talking about something but then Daniel stopped Zach from talking by hitting his chest and pointing because he noticed us coming down the stairs and Zach was talking was talking still.

Zach looked up and smiled at me. OnceI finished walking down the stairs I hugged Zach and he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"You look beautiful," I heard Daniel say to Bella and then Bella smiled.

Zach didn't say anything about how I look, which made me disappointed a little, but I just shook it off. I won't anyone or anything ruin my prom.

We all got into Daniels car, we didn't want to get a limo because one, we had no money, and two what is the point of having a limo for four people.

When we arrived at this venue, we got out of the car. We all had our tickets to get in with us. I looked around once we got in to door, it looked so beautiful. I felt like this was a dream and I was the princess. I couldn't believe my eyes. Zach looped his arm through mine and we started to walk to a table.

The people had put names on cards on the tables so we would have a place to sit. Daniel and Bella had found their names at a different than mine and Zach's so we just switched the places of the other name cards.

We sat down and just talked for a while. Then they did we were able to get food. We got our food and started to eat. Once everyone was done eating they started to play dancing music. Daniel and Bella went to dance to "The Cupid Shuffle," while Zach and I just sat there. Why was he acting so weird?

"I'm going to use the bathroom," I said to Zach he didn't acknowledge that he heard me, I just went anyway though.

Bella saw me go to the bathroom so she came in there with me. I did my business and then washed my hands.

"Are you ok?" Bella asked me because I looked kind of worried and confused.

"Yeah, well no. Zach had been acting weird lately and I have no idea why?" I said.

"Maybe you should talk to him about it," she said.

"Ok, I will. Thanks Bella," I said giving her a hug.

"No problem Brenda," she said.

I went out of the bathroom and when I looked at the table Zach wasn't there. I looked around the room and I found him. I found him dancing with a girl. The girl was Daisy. Why was he dancing with Daisy?!

Daisy was resting her head on Zach's shoulder. Then Daisy pulled away from his shoulder and looked up at him. Soon the space started to close between them. Then Daisy and Zach kissed. I can't believe Zach. Bella saw it too and then she gave me hug and said sorry for no reason, this wasn't her fault.

My eyes started fill with tears. I can't believe him! Why did he do this to me?! This felt like it was happening too fast. I started walking towards to the exit. I couldn't see anymore, everything was blurry. I walked outside and there was a bench there, so I sat down.

I put my head in my hands and the just sat there. I sat there thinking about how stupid I was for thinking that I actually took Zach out of his players ways. I was totally wrong. I felt like someone was sitting next to me. I felt someone put their arm around me. I looked up and saw Cody there.

I put my head on to his shoulder. He was here to comfort me. I was glad that someone was here for me.

"What happened?" he asked.

"I saw Zach kissing Daisy," I said while sobbing.

"He's a jerk," he said.

"Yeah, I trusted him."

"Who would treat a beautiful girl like that? You deserve way better than that jerk. I would treat you way better than that," he said now noticing what he said wrong.

"Sorry-" I cut him off though by kissing him. I don't know why I kissed him.

Zach's P.O.V.

"What the hell was that for?" I asked Daisy.

"You know you like me. I am way prettier than that Brenda girl you are dating. She is just a piece of garbage," she said which was making me angry.

"Brenda is a wonderful girl. She is way more prettier than you. You are a fake b**ch," I said.

"Sure," she said rolling her eyes.

I saw Brenda walk out and she was crying too. Why did Daisy have to kiss me? Now I feel bad, I didn't kiss her back, I pulled way. Why would I cheat on Brenda? I am not that kind of guy anymore. I like Brenda a lot and anyone who actually meant to hurt her on purpose, is a f**king a**hole. I didn't mean to hurt her.

I walked toward the exit and looked around for Brenda. I looked to my right quickly and didn't see her. I looked to the left and didn't see her either. I started walking toward the left because I saw two people. The two people were kissing, so that couldn't be Brenda. As I got closer, the two people looked familiar.

"Hey do you know where-" I stopped talking when the two people pulled away. It was Brenda and Cody who were kissing! I can't believe her! How could she do this to me?!... Never mind...

"I'm sorry Zach-" I cut her off.

"Just because you seen someone kissing me and just jumped to conclusions that I was kissing her, doesn't mean you go and kiss the next boy you see," I said to her.

"I didn't mean to-" I cut her off again.

"As for you, I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM MY GIRLFRIEND!" I screamed at Cody.

"Well it doesn't look like you guys are going to be together for long now," he said and before I knew, my fist collided with his face. He fell in the floor wincing.

"WHAT THE HELL ZACH!" Brenda screamed at me.

"I'm sorry," was all I said.

"Yeah, sorry just like yours sorry for cheating on me," she said with tears in her eyes.

"I SAID I DIDN'T KISS HER, SHE KISSED ME!" I shouted at her.

"You know what just stay the hell away from me and get the f**k out of my life," she said and her voice was so harsh, she made me wince. I don't like hearing Brenda talk like that.

I started to walk away and as I was walking away, I heard her comforting Cody, "It's ok, I am going to get you help."

I just kept walking. I felt bad, but now what can I do? I mean she said to stay away from her and get out of her life. I took turns. I don't even know where I was going. It was like midnight by now. I had no place to go. I lived with Brenda but now I can't go there because of the situation.

I finally came to a stop and looked up at my house. I don't even know why I came here.
