Pony's POV:

Whoa that was scary. I know her dad was an alcoholic and everything, but I never expected this. Oddly, her room was the only one that didn't smell like it. That's house reeked of it. I feel so bad for her, she had to live over a year with that. Well she won't have to anymore. Not if I can help it. Then, her brothers. I wanna know about them. I wanna know more about her. I think I love her. No I don't think, I know. Ever since I met her, she hasn't left my mind. She's beautiful. I look over at her. She's shorter than me, but she's standing on her skateboard so it makes us about even height. I'm still a little taller though.

Haley's POV:

I sighed, "Well, I have two brothers, as you know. The oldest is Devin. He's twenty-four years olds. I honestly don't even know where he is. He got mixed up in drugs and stuff. I don't even know if he's alive or not. Then the second oldest is Steven. He got bullied a lot in school. It was bad. He never told us. Then he committed suicide and wrote song letters. One to my mom, dad, Devin, and a couple of the kids. I don't know why but he never wrote one to me. In the letters he talked about how he was getting bullied and all. Also, he wrote that they were all accomplices of murder, each and everyone of them chipped in to kill him. Sometimes I wonder if he didn't write me a letter is cuz I was actually good to him or what. I mean, yea mom and dad were nice to him but not all the time like I was. Me and him were close, like inseparable. We were there for each other not matter what circumstances." I told him everything.

"Sorry I talk to much and I shouldn't ha-." He cut me off with a kiss. "I-I'm sorry. I don't-" He pulled away, but this time, I cut him off with a kiss. Once I pulled away I said, "You don't have to apologize, the feeling is mutual." "Wait. Actually you don't know what my feelings are." He said matter-of-factly. "ACTUALLY, that kiss said it all." I confidently said back. He had nothing to say after that. I was still on my skateboard, so I was almost even height with him. I had my guitar in its case thrown over my back while he has my duffel bag. I get off of my skateboard and pick it up. He grabbed my hand and started walking. Then all of a sudden he stopped. "Hey Haley?" He asked nervously. "Yea?" I urged him to go on. "Will you be my girl?" He asked. "YES!!" I shouted giving him and hug and a kiss. He picked the perfect time to do it to, during a beautiful sunset. "The sunset is beautiful." I said staring at it. "You are my sunset. You are the moon during the night, and the sun during the day. Whenever I see you, I think about the future, and you're always in it with me." He whispered making sure only I heard. I blushed like you can't even believe. "Pony, that's so sweet." I whispered back. "It's the truth love." He said. "Let's get back to my house." Then we set on our way.

Once we got to his house, everyone greeted us. "Hey guys!" I cheerfully said. "Hey. What makes you so happy?" Soda asked. "Well, Cuz I'm outta that hell hole." I said sitting my stuff on the floor. "You have a guitar. So that means you know how to play. Play something." Dally demanded. "Bu-but..." I started to protest. "Yeah, c'mon babe. Just one song. Pleaaaase." Pony begged, giving me puppy dog eyes. "Ugh! Fine!" I gave in. They all gathered around. I started playing, and of course I'm gonna sing to it too. I played and sang Broken Angel. I love this song.

You showed him all the best of you
But I'm afraid your best
Wasn't good enough
And know he never wanted you
At least not the way
You wanted yourself to be loved
And you feel like you were a mistake
He's not worth all those tears that won't go away

I wish you could see that
Still you try to impress him
But he never will listen

Oh broken angel
Were you sad when he crushed all your dreams
Oh broken angel
Inside you're dying 'cause you can't believe

And now you've grown up
With this notion that you were to blame
And you seem so strong sometimes
But I know that you still feel the same
As that little girl who shined like an angel
Even after his lazy heart put you through hell

I wish you could see that
Still you try to impress him
But he never will listen

Oh broken angel
Were you sad when he crushed all your dreams?
Oh broken angel
Inside you're dying 'cause you can't believe
He would leave you alone
And leave you so cold
When you were his daughter
But the blood in your veins
As you carry his name
Turns thinner than water
You're just a broken angel

And I promise that it's not your fault
It was never your fault
And I promise that it's not your fault
It was never your fault...

Oh broken angel
Were you sad when he crushed all your dreams?
Oh broken angel
Inside you're dying 'cause you can't believe
He would leave you alone
And leave you so cold
When you were his daughter
But the blood in your veins
As you carry his name
Turns thinner than water
You're just a broken angel

And I promise that it's not your fault
It was never your fault
And I promise that it's not your fault
It was never your fault

After I finished they all gaped at me. "What?" I asked. "You. Were. Amazing." Pony said. "Thanks." I blushed. Then I sang a few more afterwards.
