*MATT* So, sector 3 is clear again, green flags.

*ME* Yeah, that's bullshit.
There's so much mud out of 12,
no fucking grip to be found.
I have no idea how I should get in a decent lap time with that there.

While the first practice session went very uneventful for me due to a coding error on the car and me only able to put in a few laps right at the end of the session, second practice had a lot of yellow flags. Albon managed to put his Red Bull into the wall, then spinning back on the track, coating it in grass and mud. He was ok, but I guess his ego was quite bruised.

Me on the other half couldn't help but feel a bit of content. The guy Red Bull was so eager to have they dropped a talent like Pierre for, crashing like this on his own, while Pierre dragged his AlphaTauri to P8 in that session, felt quite satisfying.

One look at each other in the debrief after second practice and Pierre and I couldn't stop smirking. We both liked Alex, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the situation any less.

Friday evening was slow. Jenny, Jamie and myself ate dinner together, after that, Jamie went straight to his room and Jenny massaged all the tension out of me that had built up in the last days.
I felt my mind relax as I felt her warm fingers sweeping over and over again across my neck and shoulder blades.

As soon as my head hit the pillow that night, I was out. I didn't even wake when Flint got into our room, changed, and curled up beside me.
