I slowly sipped on my champagne while watching male models striding over the catwalk. I caught myself staring at a particurarly handsome brunet and biting my lower lip. I inhaled sharply.
"Could you look any greedier?", my manager joked.
I threw him a look and held up my hand.
"See this? Pretty soon it's gonna be landing in your face!"
"You can't Verstappen me, it's my birthday!"
Charles next to me laughed out loud.
"I love that we just already have a name for it."
I shook my head and rolled my eyes, trying to zone out the incident with the Red Bull driver just a few weeks back.
Charles leaned forward in my direction.
"Why aren't you up there? I bet they've asked you too.", he asked me while we watched Lance and the two Williams boys walk past us in their designer clothes.
"They all did, but she told me to decline them all.", Jamie threw in.
"I would've loved to see you up there, Suvi.", Charles stated and grinned at me.
"My aunt is the model, not me. I'm just a driver."
Charles and Jamie simultaneously blew a raspberry.
"You're at least as gorgeous as she is". I gave my manager an annoyed glance. I've seen how he looked at my aunt before. She wasn't much older than him.
"Pfff.", I copied them. "But anyway, it's okay, she has her looks, I have my skillset. This one on the other hand", I nodded into the direction of my brother who joined us with Jenny walking next to him,
"This one doesn't have either."
Etienne pulled a face and sat down at our table.
"I assume it was something insulting, so fuck you" he answered and I showed my tongue.
