this feels so great!
Saturday I felt good. I started memorizing shift points, muscle memory kicked in, the repetitions and long runs in all three practice sessions started to show their effect, and the car was well suited for this track.
In my final Q3 lap, I clipped the wall in Louis Chiron, but only just, and was rewarded with a remarkable P6. I couldn't believe it.

After running my two cooling laps, I parked the bolide and fell into the arms of Jamie, Jenny and Etienne, who were already waiting for me in parc fermé. Everyone back in the garage was so pleased and not long after my shoulders started to hurt from all the pats they received.
