Gerard wasn't the most liked in school, he knew that,
It's pretty tough to avoid when people give you weird looks in the hallways.
But Gerard wasn't phased by any of that, or at least that's what he told himself.Gerard was making his way down the hall silently, a black bag resting on his shoulders.
Frank hadn't shown up to greet him like usual, already kick-starting his day on a shitty note.
He sighed as he swiftly put his phone into his blazer pocket, looking around a little paranoid,
No one had seen him on it. Good.He sighed again as he reached the doorway of an empty classroom, it was genuinely pretty peaceful,
Gerard liked it that way,
Though he was already missing Frank messing around at his side, it was one of the two lessons that they had together, and Frank just had to ditch him on a Friday too.
Gerard made his way to the back of the class silently, his long black hair caught under the strap of his bag, causing him to hiss in pain as he yanked it off "bitch" he groaned under his breath, throwing the bag under the table before him and collapsing into the plastic blue chair provided by the school. The silence was the only thing in the room, or at least for the moment being,
For Gerard it only lasted a few seconds before annoying voices and footsteps made themselves clear in the room with him,
the boy looked over to the door, scowling slightly,
his facial expression changed upon recognising his friend's face.
Frank had waved off what seemed to be a friend and was making his way over to him, smiling a little "Ey sorry dude, woke up late, I got you half my waffle tho" he said, as he rubbed his neck, holding out half a waffle to the sitting boy, a sheepish smile on his face.
Gerard on the other hand was not smiling, instead, the tired boy took a glimpse at the waffle and threw his head onto the table, creating a loud bang,"hey c'mon I'm sorry" said Frank, hopping up onto the table, placing the waffle by his friends head in the process.
Gerard groaned in return, lifting up his head and slowly taking the waffle, proceeding to eat it slowly whilst looking at his black haired friend,
"Alright, look" said Frank,
"So you know how I said I'd find a place to visit, last night?
I actually found this
Abandoned house in the woods close by" the boy pulled out his phone, bringing up a few screenshots of what looked to be debree and faded walls, showing it to Gerard, who nodded slightly
"It looks cool" he commented, finally cracking a small smile, "We should bring Mikes along, he loves that stuff"
Frank nodded, "you're so right"
Before the two boys could say much more, footsteps made themselves clear in the classroom, causing Frank to flinch and stuff his phone into his pocket, looking over at the door.A young girl with blonde hair walked through the door, linking arms with a taller blonde boy, laughing as the two walked to a seat in the class,
Gerard and Frank watched them silently, Frank groaning slightly and hopping off of the table, Gerard watched him walk over to his own seat and sighed.
it hadn't taken long for the rest of the students to arrive.~~
After the class Gerard had waited for Frank by the water fountain, the shorter boy was taking his time filling up his bottle. "Come on Frank hurry up"
"I'm trying" whined Frank,
Pushing down on the button as hard as he could, wincing a little after a small click came from his thumb,
Gerard shivered and looked at Frank, "the hell was that noise"
Frank just laughed in return, pulling his hand away from the fountain.
"Frank, look behind you"
Said Gerard, noticeably shifting his voice into a small whisper,
"Huh?" Frank took a look behind himself, seeing the same blondes walking down and sighed.
"Come on let's get out of here" whispered Gerard, getting a small nod from Frank, who was already screwing the cap of his water bottle shut.
The two boys quickly made their way away from the fountain, unlucky, as they heard a feminine "hey" from behind them,
The two boys looked at eachother,
both silently turning around to look at the two students now by the water fountain,
"Yeah?" Replied Frank, uncomfortably standing by his friends side,
"Not to be rude or anything, aren't you two like, gay?" Asked the girl, causing Gerard and Frank to awkwardly look at eachother,
"No..." Replied Gerard quietly, turning away and pulling Frank with him, avoiding any other conversation, despite the girl calling them. The two boys had made their way down the stairwell to a seperate floor, panting a little, Frank taking a swig from his cold water bottle,
"If I had a penny for every time we've been asked that.." Said Gerard,
"I know" Replied Frank, taking a deep breath as he offered Gerard the bottle.
