"So, Sasuke," Kakashi said to the Uchiha who was standing next to him. "What are you planning to do?" Sasuke  raised an eyebrow. What was he planning to do? Sasuke was confused by that question.  There's nothing be wants to do except be alone. And not be bothered by annoying people.

"What do you mean by that?" Sasuke asked, hoping for it to not be what he thinks it is.

"You know Sasuke.." Kakashi said. "You want to restore your clan, right? You gotta find someone to do that with."

There it goes. Sasuke thought in his mind.

Sasuke thinked for a sec. Restore  his clan? He forgot all about that until now. What woman could he restore his clan with? The only woman he didn't  feel annoyed by was Sakura. Sakura hugged him sometimes,  which made Sasuke feel something  he didn't  recognize.  Was it love? Did he develop feelings for Sakura? Sasuke never told anyone this, but he's  always secretly liked her and her hugs.

"Sasuke?" Kakashi's voice said, snapping the Uchiha  out of his thinking. "Are you okay?"

Sasuke stared at Kakashi  for a few seconds and turned around.

"I don't  need to find anyone right now." Sasuke said, getting ready to walk away.

Kakashi sighed. "Stubborn  as always.." He mumbled to himself. "He seems annoyed. He should have known that if he returned to Konoha a certain pink haired woman would be all over him.."

Sakura finished her shift at the hospital.

She was hoping to run into the raven haired man, but she also hoped not to.  When she first saw him at the gate, he seemed to be angry or annoyed. Maybe both, but it sort of hurt Sakura. Maybe he was mad that she knew he was back.

"Hey! Sakura-chan!!" Yelled a voice. Of course, it's  Naruto.

"Oh, Naruto," Sakura smiled. "Hello there."

Naruto grinned and nudged her shoulder. "Say..say.." he whispered to her. "Have you seen Sasuke?"

The only time Sakura seen Sasuke was when they were at the gates. After that,  she didn't  see him anymore. Which made Sakura kind of sad.

"No.." Sakura said, trying to make herself not seem sad. "Do you know where he is?"

Naruto shook his head.

"Man, he's back and he's  already busy!!" Naruto yelled. "I'm gonna go ask Kakashi where he went.. I'm sure he knows!!"

Naruto went to go ask Kakashi where Sasuke went and as he hoped, Kakashi knew.

Kakashi saw Sasuke leave the  village. Hopefully, for a emergency. And not to leave the village for good when he just got back.

"He left the village? Without me or Sakura knowing?" Naruto said to Kakashi. "Do you think he had a mission?"

"Ah yes." Kakashi said. "I forgot.. I had asked him to investigate  a suspicious  land.."

Naruto facepalmed. "What's the name of the suspicious  land?!" Naruto  yelled, angry that Sasuke went without him.

"Naruto, Sasuke really wanted to go by himself.." Kakashi said. "He doesn't  want you following."

"What about Sakura?!"

"Hm, maybe he'll  prefer her over you." Kakashi said. "But maybe not."

Naruto sighed.

"When will he back?" He asked.

"If he goes fast, tomorrow  possibly" Kakashi said, answering  his question. "Or the day after tomorrow."

Naruto thanked Kakashi for answering his questions,  and returned to Sakura.

"Turns out, he's  on a mission.." Naruto said. "But no worries! He'll  be back soon!!"

He patted Sakura's  shoulder and grinned widely.

"Ask him out soon, Sakura-chan!" Naruto said.

"a-ask  him out?!" Sakura yelled out nervously. "I don't  think Sasuke is happy to see me.."

"Oh, he is." Naruto said. "You know him. He's  probably  hiding it!!" 

Maybe Naruto was right. He always hid how he felt. Especially  about Sakura. Sakura hoped that would be true. It would break her heart if it wasn't.

SASUKE'S  POV:

I ran through  the tall trees. I was going to investigate  a land that has been reported for experimenting  and killing people. They say the people who have been doing that is related to a villain  that hasn't  been caught in ages. It really angers me that they're  doing this to innocent people who have done nothing to them.

Once I find them, I'll  kill them. No hesitation, no mercy of course.

"I wonder what Sakura is doing.." I say to myself. Wait, why am I thinking of her right now? I need to focus.

I can worry about her later.

After arriving  to my destination,  I carefully  search around it. There were old houses. Tore down, and looked like they've  been burned. So I guess I can say no one lives here.

But if no one lives here,  how has there been experiments? How am I gonna find the villain who's  done it all?

Suddenly I felt a stabbing pain in my leg. "Tch!" I said in pain as I grabbed it. It felt like it was going to explode.  I roll my pants up and saw that my whole leg was turning purple. And there were two marks on it that looked like I've  been bitten.

"What the heck..?" I say. "Shoot.. I must have been bit by a bug."

I can NOT be dealing with a bite on my leg right now. It hurt so much I could barely walk! How am i gonna complete this?!

If only Sakura was here. She could help me out. But she isn't.  Maybe I should have brought her, but that would just drag me down.

I felt myself sweating. It felt like I might vomit. And my vision was getting blurry. Am I dying? No.. not to a bite. Maybe it was a poisonous  one?

I huffed, as I felt myself getting weaker and weaker. I tried to stand, but I just fell back to the ground.

"Heh, I never thought a Uchiha could be this weak." Said a scratchy  voice.

I turned around to see a man with white spiky  hair, dressed in all black.

"Who the heck are you..?" I say, feeling a wave of pain hit my leg.

"I am Aku." He said,  while laughing darkly. "It's  been years since we've  had a visitor."

I stood up, and leaned on a tree.

"Aku.. are you the one doing all the experiments?" I say, huffing.

"Mm.. why should I tell you?" Aku said. "are you here to kill me? haha! If so, you're  definitely  not in shape."

"Just answer." I growled.

"Hm, yeah." Aku says. "I am the one who has been behind it all!!"

I tightened  my fist. I finally found him, this easily, but I was feeling that if I try to fight him, it would not turn out well. I'm extremely  weak right now, I don't  have the strength  to kick or punch.  I don't  even have the strength  to lift up a finger.

"And that bite on your leg," Aku says. "Is poisonous.  If you don't  get it treated, you can die in the next 12 hours."

12 hours? If I could defeat this guy  possibly,  I could try to run to Konoha to get help. Help from who? Well, the best would be Sakura. Sakura is the one I only want to be healed by. But don't  tell her that.

"Well, make that 12 painful hours." Aku said. "Goodluck,  Sasuke!! I'll be seeing you soon!!"

And then Aku dissapeared  out of thin air.

"Where did he go.." i say, trying to lift myself up. "Anyways, I need to hurry.."
