"Eh?! Mr. Sasuke left the village?!" Boruto said out of surprise to Sarada. "Me and him were supposed to trainnnn!!"

Sarada sighed.

"You're a big fan of my father, aren't you?" She said to him. "You know, maybe you should  act like that towards your father?"

"Not that stupid old man." Boruto said while crossing his arms.

"He's not stupid, or that old Boruto!!" Sarada slapped Boruto on the back and he yelled out in pain.

"Geez.. So.. " Boruto said while rubbing his back. "Do you know when he'll get back?"

Sarada shook her head.

"No.. He just left without saying anything. And my mama was in the hospital.."

"Oh, Mr. Sasuke did that?" Boruto said. "I wonder where he went."

"Probably to investigate." Sarada said. "But I hope he comes back soon.."

"Hey, you've heard of that Aku guy?!" Boruto yelled.

Sarada raised an eyebrow. "Yeah? The one who kidnapped my mom?"

Boruto rubbed the back of his head nervously.

"Ah.. Yeah.. Him.. Sorry about that!" Boruto said. "But maybe Sasuke went to him!?"

"Maybe.." Sarada said. "Boruto, how do you know about him?"

"Ahh, I.. Overheard my dad talking about it!" Boruto said.

"Are you hungry Sarada?" He said. "Let's go for burgers!"

Sarada sighed, then nodded.

"Right, let's go get some."

The two of them sat at a booth at the burger place, and Mitsuki was already there.

"Hello, Boruto." Mitsuki said while smiling. "Hello, Sarada." The two waved at him, and they ordered what they wanted.

Boruto chomped on his burger and threw his head back.

"Mmm! This is so good!!" Boruto said with his mouth full. He stuffed his mouth with some fries, and chugged down his cup of soda.

"Boruto, manners.." Sarada said while taking a bite of her burger. "You really like burgers, don't you?"

Boruto finished the last bit of his burger and nodded his head.

Mitsuki smiled at Boruto.

"I can see why he likes it. It has an interesting taste. And Boruto is interesting."

Boruto raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything. He just ate the rest of his fries, and chugged down the last bit of his soda.

"Ahh! I'm full!" Boruto said. "But I could go for another burger!!" Boruto grinned.

"Boruto, you can have my burger." Mitsuki said while handing out his burger.

Boruto smiled widely and took the burger away from him. "Yum!! Thanks Mitsuki!!"

Boruto ate the burger quickly and rubbed his stomach.

"Oh.. Now I'm stuffed.." He said while huffing.

"Ah, I should really head home." Sarada said. "I'm supposed to be helping my mom make dinner."

Sarada took a sip of her soda, and waved goodbye to the two boys and ran out.

"Hm.. I wonder how mom is doing." Sarada said. "I hope she isn't upset.."

Sarada arrived at her home, and unlocked the door with the key her mother gave her.

"Mama? You home?" She said, and waited for a answer.

But there was no answer.

"Hmm.." Sarada said. "Maybe she had to go out to do something."

Sarada sat in her room, and read a few books for several minutes, then got up to wash the vegatables that was going to be used for dinner.

Her mom still wasn't home yet. And she was starting to get worried. Did something happen to her? I hope not. If something did, Sarada would be upset. And she was already upset about her father leaving, so she would be more upset.

"Maybe she had important stuff to do.." Sarada said, trying to make herself feel better.

Finally, Sarada heard the door swing open, and it was her mom.

"Mama!" Sarada said. "Where have been?"

Sakura sighed, and held up a grocery bag.

"Sorry, I was late getting home because I had to get things for dinner.." She said. "Well, more things!"

Sakura smiled at her daughter, and placed the bag on the table.

"Why don't you go freshen up first?" Sakura said to her.

"Ohh, right, sure mama!" Sarada said and walked to go take a shower.

While she was doing that, her mom prepared dinner. A nice, tomato dish. She made it because she missed Sasuke.

Sarada got out the shower, and sat at the dinner table.

"It smells good mama." Sarada said, as her plate of food was placed in front of her.

"Thanks Sarada." Sakura said, as she sat next to Sarada in a chair.

Sarada took a bite of her food, and sighed.

"Mama! This is so good!!" She said. "I wish papa was here to eat with us though.."

Sakura didn't frown when she said that. She smiled softly, and patted her head.

"There's always next time Sarada." She said. "He'll come back soon."

Sarada smiled at her mom, and finished eating her food.

After she was done, she got up and washed the dishes.

"Well, Sarada, it's bed time." Sakura said. "Go to sleep okay?" Sarada nodded, and said goodnight to her mother,  then she climbed into her bed and went to sleep.

But Sakura didn't go to sleep yet. 

She was writing in her journal.

She had bought it the first time Sasuke left the village.

(Yes, I know Sakura didn't actually have a journal I'n Boruto, but in this story, she does.)

She wrote into her journal until it was late at night.

And she laid in her bed.

And went to sleep.

Guys, I know these few chapters may have been a little boring, but it'll start getting interesting, meaning it may start to get a little sad.

But yeah, sorry if the chapters are coming out late. 😢 I have tons of things to focus on. Like, artist and animator things you know? Haha, anyways bye!! I hope you are excited for the upcoming chapters.

Also, how have you guys been? *why am I still speaking  I'm supposed to end this chapter*
