It was a rainy, gloomy day today.

Thank goodness Sakura had the day off today. She loved her job, but she wasn't really feeling it on this day.

She  decided, that she'll  go visit her friend Ino. Maybe to vent to her, about  Sasuke. That darn Sasuke..

When she arrived at Ino's house, Sai was there. She was afraid she might've  been interrupting something.

"Sai was just here to help me with something." Ino said while smiling. "He's gonna leave now." And he did.

"So, Sakura.." Ino said while handing her a cup of tea. "How's it going with you and Sasuke?~"

Sakura sighed. "We haven't  had a real  conversation.." she said. "All he's  done is say rude things to me.."

Ino's eyes widened. "What did he say?!" She yelled. "I'll  kick his butt!"

Sakura laughed nervously. "It's  okay, Ino.." she said. "m-maybe I'll see him today.."

Ino smiled, then took the last sip of her tea. "You better ask him out then." She said, which made Sakura turn red.

"Ask..him..out?!" She nervously said, covering the redness on her face. "There's  no way.. he would reject me!!"

"You have to do it someday!!" Ino yelled. "I know you're  afraid of  rejection, but just think if he says yes."

A date with Sasuke? Sakura began to think about that. Imagining him in a suit and tie, imagining ending the date with the kiss,  imagining him eating. Wait.. eating? She shook her head to make the thoughts go away and stood up.

"Alright.." she said. "I'm going to try and find him.. he's  probably  in the forest, or talking to Naruto.."

Sakura said goodbye to her best friend and went to find Sasuke.

After walking, trying to find him, she heard some familiar  voices.

Sasuke-kun  and Naruto...? She thought, they must be near..

Sakura walked a couple steps, and then she bumped into somebody. "Oh! Sorry!" She apologized. She looked up to see who it was, and her heart almost stopped. "Hn." The person said. We all know who it is, it was Sasuke.

"Sasuke-kun?" Sakura said. "What are you doing?"

Naruto placed a hand on Sasuke's shoulder. "We were discussing  a mission!" Naruto said, while grinning. "Oh, and you came just in time!!"

Sasuke sighed annoyingly at Naruto. "Idiot, you weren't  supposed to say that." He growled.

"Sakura  is apart of team 7! She is supposed to know if we have missions together  or not!!" Naruto yelled at him. "And why don't  you want her to come?!"

Sasuke stared at Naruto for a second.

"Because  she'll  get in the way." He said coldly.

But, secretly,  it was because  Sasuke didn't want her getting hurt or anything. He could not deal with a wounded Sakura. The thought of it made him angry. Why? Because  the thought of someone hurting Sakura  that is.

"Get in the way huh..?" Sakura  said, already feeling the tears forming in her eyes. "Sasuke, I've  been nice to you but all you've  done is say mean things."

Naruto's eyes widened. "WHAT?!" he yelled. "SASUKE, TEME, WHAT DID YOU  SAY?!"

"Shut  up, dobe." Sasuke said, turning to him. "All I told her was to leave me alone."
