Sakura slowly opened her eyes. But she wasn't in her room, she was in a hospital room.

The sun shined on her face, and on her skin.

Squinting her eyes, she slowly lifted up but felt a wave of pain hit her body, and fell back down onto the bed.

"Can anything ever go right..?" She said to herself. "All I wanted was to take a walk by  myself and here comes a man attacking me!!"

She rolled on her side, and sighed heavily. "I wonder where Sasuke-kun is.." She said.

There were some footsteps by the door, and turned around to see who it was.

The door opened, and it was Sarada.

"Sarada?" Sakura said,  and a soft smile appeared on her face. She was happy to see her daughter.

"Mama.." Sarada said, and  slowly walked to her mother. "Are you okay?"

Sakura smiled, and hugged her daughter tightly.

"Yeah, I'm fine.. Just a couple bruises.." Sakura said.

"And a wound?" Sarada said, and stared at her mom's stomach that was wrapped with bandages.

"Ha, yeah.." Sakura said while looking down. "Where's your father?"

Sarada's happy expression went to a sad one. And she rubbed her arm.

"Ah.. I'm sorry Mama." She said. "But Tsunade told me he left the village.."

Sakura's eyes widened. "He did..?" She said with a bit of sadness. "Oh.."

Sarada sat on her mom's hospital bed.

"He didn't even say goodbye to us this time.." Sarada said. "Maybe it was an emergency?"

"Maybe.." Sakura said. "I just wished he would have said goodbye to you."  Sakura cupped Sarada's face, and smiled softly at her.

"Thanks mama.." Sarada said. "By the way, how long are you staying In here?"

"Not that long." Sakura answered. "I'll leave when my wound heals."

There was a knock on the door, and it opened.

"Hey Sakura! Hey Sarada! " Said Ino who was at the door. "How are you feeling?"

Sakura smiled at her best friend. "I'm doing okay, just a little pain."

Ino walked up to Sakura and sat on the bed.

"Well, mama I'm gonna head out." Sarada said. "I'm going to prepare something for you to eat!" Sakura nodded at her daughter, and gave her a goodbye hug.

Ino sighed.

"So he left you again?"

"I'm sure he has a reason Ino!"

"He left you when you were in the hospital!" Ino said. "Can he at least stay with his wife?"

"It's fine Ino!" Sakura said. "I'm fine, really.."

Ino facepalmed.

"Anyways, Sakura, you should be careful. There's a pretend doctor named Kevin but is secretly Aku going around, right?" Ino said. "What if he kidnaps you again?"

Sakura blinked.

"He won't! And I won't let him!" Sakura said. "I'm not letting that piece of crap touch me again."

Sakura raised her fist in the air.

Ino laughed, and playfully hit her friend on the arm.

"Well, I'm going to leave you to rest. You be careful, ok?" Ino said to her, and stood up.

"Alright Ino. See you later."

Ino left out, and Sakura just sat on her bed, feeling lonely.

"Why did you leave?" Sakura said. "Sasuke-kun?"

𝙁𝙚𝙬 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧...

Sakura was out of the hospital, and the first thing she wanted to do was go home. She was tired being stuck at that boring hospital. Sure, her friends visited her when they had time, but she wanted someone else to visit her. Sasuke, the love of her life. Her husband. He still hasn't returned after a couple of days. And it was making her very worried. She had a painful thought In her head. And the thought was that maybe Sasuke was dead. She almost cried thinking about Sasuke dying.  She just decided to go to ichiraku ramen, to try and get her mind off of it. She would ask Naruto where he's at, but Naruto doesn't have any idea. Tsunade said that he went to go find Aku, and the guy who hurt her, but she has no idea where he is actually at.

Sakura bit on her chopsticks. She was starting to get nervous. She placed the chopsticks in the bowl and stood up.

She slapped some money down, and walked out of the place.

She was so bored. She had nothing to do. She would go to work, but she couldn't, Because she was just discharged from the hospital. And she would hang out with her friends, but they were all busy. How about hanging out with her daughter? I'm sure she's got nothing to do too, right? She said she was hanging with Boruto and Mitsuki.

Maybe she'll just go say hi.
