Sasuke walked to the Hokage's office, and knocked on the door.

"Come in." He said, and Sasuke did.

"Oh, Sasuke!" Naruto said. "Good to see you, how have you been?"

Sasuke folded his arms.

"Doesn't matter, tell me what you've found." He said. "Nothing is important right now but that."

Naruto grinned. "Not even Sakura?"

Sasuke glared at Naruto, and he cleared his throat and put on a serious expression.

"I sent Sai out on a mission, and he said that he found something dealing with Aku." Naruto said. "He found a hideout that included the same medicines from when you went to go save Sakura."

Sasuke slowly nodded, telling Naruto to continue.

"The medicines seemed to have poison in it.." Naruto said. "And there was a doctors coat on the table in the Hideout. We have a theory on what it might mean."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "What's the theory?" He asked.

"There were a few cases that popped up.." Naruto said. "A doctor pretending to be a doctor, and giving sick people medicine that kills them."

"A doctor who kills people..?" Sasuke said. "And you're saying this might be Aku? How?"

"The medicines." Naruto said. "We can't let anymore cases happen. We need to find Aku, and put him down for good."

Sasuke nodded. He still wanted revenge on Aku. Especially for kidnapping his wife that one time. Nobody touches his wife. Nobody at all, except him.

"So, Sasuke," Naruto said. "I'm just saying, watch your wife alright? He might be aiming for her again."

Sasuke grit his teeth. "And if he dares to put any hands on my wife, he won't have any hands to do so." Sasuke said coldly.

Naruto smirked. "Alright, that's it for now." He said. "I'll let you know if anything pops up."

Sasuke stepped out and shut the door.

"And I'll do the same for you.. " he whispered, gripping onto his Katana.

Sakura was at the hospital doing her shift. A few patients came in complaining about terrible stomach aches, and Sakura did xrays on them, only to find poison all in their stomach. She quickly performed a surgery that sucked out all of the poison in them, and thankfully, they were okay after. All, except one who was complaining about pain all over the body. Sakura ran to go check him, but he screamed, and threw up on the floor. Sakura quickly felt his head, and he was burning up. He placed a hand on his chest, and his heart rate was going down.

"No, no, no, no.." She panicked, trying to give him CPR when his heart stopped.

She tried, and tried and tried, but nothing woke the man up. She called for help, and doctors came in, but there was nothing they could do. The man was gone, and he was not coming back. Sakura didn't understand. She helped all the other ones, but couldn't help him. Why? Did some poison spread to the other parts of his body? That's not even possible! She took out all the poison didn't she? Was she bad at her job? She couldn't be!!

Sakura sighed, as sadness rushed inside of her. The man had a wife, and a child. And now they were going to find out that he was gone.

And she felt like it was her fault.

Sakura got a salad for lunch, and sat at a table, eating it.

She sighed. She didn't really feel like eating. She was still thinking about the man.

The man that she let die..

She was going to get up, and throw the salad away, but she felt a hand grab her shoulder.

She turned around, getting ready to say hello, since she assumed it was Naruto, or Ino, or Tsuande. But it wasn't anything of them. It was Sasuke.

"Sasuke.." Sakura said. Why was he here?

"What are you doing here?"

Sasuke took his hand off her shoulder, and looked around before giving her a peck on the cheek.

She blushed a deep red.

"I just came to check on you." Sasuke said.

Sakura raised an eyebrow.

"Check on me? You've never done that before." She said, putting her hands on her hips.

"Well, I am now." Sasuke replied back. "You know.. You look off. Did something happen?"

Yes, something did happen. That's what Sakura wanted to say, but she didn't want to bother Sasuke with it.

"It's nothing." She said, smiling. "Just.. Tired."

Sasuke smirked, then frowned.

"I can tell you're lying." He said, leaning closer to look into her eyes. "Something did happen, hm?"

Sakura blinked, then sighed.

"A patient died today.." She said leaning her head on the table. "And I feel like it's my fault.."

She ran her fingers through her hair.

" I really wanted to save him, but I couldn't.."  She said. "Am I a bad doctor?"

Sasuke shook his head.

"No, you're not a bad doctor, Sakura." He said, rubbing the side of her face. "You can't save everyone you know. Some people just have to leave the world. It's not your fault."

She was still frowning, but what Sasuke said made her feel better.

"Thanks darling.." She said, and kissed him on the cheek.

"You know how people are coming in poisoned?" Sasuke said to her. "Well, Naruto has an idea on what it might be."

"Mhmm, and?" Sakura said.

"It may be Aku." Sasuke said. "When Naruto sent Sai out, he found a hideout filled with the same medicines from the place you were kidnapped."

Sakura's eyes widened.

"There's more." Sasuke said. "We have even more proof that this isn't just a theory. People around had said that their friends were treated by a fake doctor, then died the next day."

Sakura placed a hand on her mouth. "Oh my, that's terrible.. Maybe that's why the man died.." She said. "But I took all the poison out from him."

"Maybe it's a special type of poison." Sasuke said. "We know Aku, he's a experimenter. Of course he would have special things."

Sakura nodded, then stood up. "I need to go do something." She said to Sasuke. "I'll see you later, ok?"

Sasuke nodded, then gave her a kiss on the lips. He left the hospital, then went on his way.
