13.

"Now?" Sakura said. "W-why now?!"

Aku called his servants, and they quickly came in the room.

"Get stuff ready for the experiment." He ordered them. And they nodded, running to get stuff ready.

Sakura tightened her fist.

"You are not experimenting  on me!!" She yelled. "I'm going to-"

And before she knew it, she blacked out.

But a few hours later, she woke up. She was tied tightly to a metal bed. A bed that looked like it was used for surgery..

"Wh.. what the?!" She said, trying to escape the ropes.

She heard footsteps, and quickly turned her head towards the door that was wide open.

"Ah, you're awake." Said Aku, as he walked into the room. "Ready?"

Sakura  felt sweat drip from her forehead, and she quickly  shook her head. You know, normally,  she would be able to burst from these ropes, but for some reason, they were too strong.

Aku picked up a vaccine filled with purple liquid and lifted up Sakura's  arm.

"Let's get started, shall we?" Aku said, smirking creepily.

Sakura shook her arm to stop the needle from going in and tried her best to escape from the ropes. But nothing was working.

Tears began to fill her eyes, and roll down her cheeks.

"Please don't  inject that into me." She begged. "Please, I have friends  and family."

Aku just ignored her, lifting up her arm again.

He brought the needle closer to her arm and..

BANG!!!

Aku quickly turned around to see that the door had been smashed open.

And there was someone standing there.

Sasuke Uchiha.

"Uchiha.." Aku growled. "Why are you here?"

Sasuke pulled out his sword.

"Isn't  it obvious?" Sasuke said. "To save her."

Sakura could hear the sound of punching and kicking. She didn't  even notice the door had been smashed open. Because  she was too busy being frightened by the needle. But all her fear went away when she saw Sasuke fighting Aku.

"Sasuke-kun!!" She yelled.

Sasuke heard her yell, but he didn't  have time to glance at her. He was too busy fighting Aku. One look away and he could have his leg cut off.

Every hit, kick, slash, Aku dodged it.

Sasuke had to figure out something. 

He was just about to do a chidori when all of a sudden..

There were crumbling noises.

"Seems like this place is about to crash down." Aku said, smirking. "If I don't  get out of here, I'll die. So, see you later Sasuke."

Aku dissapeared  out of thin air, a frown on his face because  his plan had failed.

Sasuke quickly  turned to Sakura and ran towards her.

He ripped the ropes in half and she quickly wrapped her arms around him.

"Sasuke-kun.." she said, while sobbing. Sasuke hated to see her cry, so he quickly  looked at her, and wiped her tears away.

"Let's hurry and get out of here." He said, scooping her up.

He quickly ran through the hallway, dodging the bits of roof that were falling, and fortunately made it out.

He huffed as he put Sakura down on the grass and got  on his knees.

"Are you okay?" He asked her. She looked at him with tears forming in her eyes again.

"I was so scared.." she said, bitting her lip to prevent the tears from coming. "So scared..."

Sasuke looked at her for a bit, then sighed.

"Let's get home." He said, grabbing her hand. "Don't  cry anymore, okay?"

When they got back home, Sakura was hugged by all her friends. Ino, Hinata, Tenten. The annoying ramen lover, Tsunade, and Kakashi,  who just gave  her a pat on the shoulder.

"Wow! Teme, you brought her back!!" Naruto yelled. "Goodjob!!"

Sasuke just glared at Naruto,  smirked a little bit then walked off.

When he was walking away, he tightened his fist. Because  he was angry at something.  Or someone.

He was angry that Aku had kidnapped Sakura. Wait, why does he care so much?! Well, duh, he cares for his teammates. But secretly, Sakura is more than a teammate to him. He was also angry that he had shown emotion towards her. Like, showing that he was a bit upset about her crying. She can not know that he loves her. Never. Well, she could find out someday.. because  what if it becomes obvious? It can't  be kept a secret forever..

Sakura, who was hungry as heck, decided  to head to Ichiraku ramen with Naruto.

"So, Sakura, how are you feeling?" Naruto asked her. "You can talk to me if you ever feel bad!!"

Sakura just slurped her noodles, and gulped.

"I'm fine, Naruto. Just a little hungry." She said, smiling. "How are you and Hinata?"

Naruto quickly blushed, and  gulped down his third bowl of ramen.

"A-ah..uhm.." he said. "We're  good, why?"

Sakura just laughed and stood up.

"Just messing with you, Naruto." She said. "Anyways,  I'm full now. I'm gonna head home, okay?"

Naruto smiled, and nodded.

She put money down on the table, and walked home.

When she got home, she sighed.

"I need to shower,  but I'm so tired.." she said. "I have to shower though."

She showered, washing every inch of her body, shampooing her hair, washing again, and rinsing  off. She stepped out of the shower,  dried herself off, and slipped onto some pajamas. Which was just a white shirt with pajama shorts.

She flopped into her bed, getting underneath the covers, and sighed in relief.  She hasn't  felt so comfy and warm in a long time. She could drift of to sleep right now, but her thoughts stopped her.

I'm home.. what should I do now..

Maybe i should ask Sasuke out?

Will things get better for me?

Maybe he'll  be nicer to me..

The thoughts echoed in her head. And she sighed again.
But then she blushed, as she thought of the handsome raven haired man.

"Oh Sasuke-kun.." she said, while smiling. "I love you. I hope you love me back someday."

She slowly closed her eyes, falling asleep.

Hehe, that's the end of chapter 13. The story isn't  over yet 😈😈
