Alan was still sat with Bella waiting for her to wake up. It had been nearly 20 hours since she came out of surgery, and she still hadn't woken up.

Michael and Sophie headed home with Jacob. Michael headed to the Rickman home and brought Alan a change of clothes for himself and a wash bag for both Alan and Bella. Also, he put some night clothes in for Bella so when she woke up, they could change her into one of her night dresses or PJ's that he had packed for her.

Alan looked at his phone to see messages flooding in from the Potter cast hoping that she would make a speedy recovery. Plus, David Hayman had told him that he had delayed the start of the second film for a week.

Michael dropped the bag off and stayed with Bella whilst Alan went to grab a shower and change. He sat down in Alan's chair and took a hold of Bella's hand.

"Hey sweet pea. You hang on in there. Your friends and family are here with you. Tom was very upset when we told him personally about you. He had plans all set up for your day out on your birthday this year. He says he's going to come over soon and I think that some of the other cast are dropping by I think tomorrow or sometime today. You need to wake up, we need to see your brown eyes shining up at us." Michael told the sleeping child.

Alan came back in holding his dirty clothes and his washbag.

"If you let me take your dirty clothes, I will ask Sophie to wash them for you." Michael held out his hands for Alan's laundry.

"Thank you, Michael. For everything." Alan hugged his driver.

"I'm sorry for what I said yesterday. It's just like both me and Sophie had said. It's just we don't want to betray what Bella had told us."

"That's fine. I have a secret myself that I haven't told anyone."

"Do you want to share, or keep it to yourself for a little longer?" Michael asked.

"I think I will have to talk to Bella first."

"No problem Sir. Just look after yourself. Sophie and Jacob are coming by later to check in on you. I will see you soon." Michael picked up a bag that was inside of Alan's rucksack and placed the laundry in it and took it with him.

Alan sat back down next to Bella and then started to check his emails for the morning.

He spotted an email from an old friend. He opened it to see that he was going to be back in town for a few months to open a play on the West End and he was hoping that he could meet up. Alan kept that to one side.

Another was a role in a movie, 'Love Actually'. It would be filmed after he would be finished with Chamber of Secrets. He had been offered the role of Harry. He emailed them back saying he would accept the role if Isabella was out of hospital and feeling ok.

The Red-Carpet event for 'The Search for John Gissing' was coming up. He was in two minds whether to go or not as it was in a few weeks' time. He left that one unanswered.

There was a knock on the door, Alan went over to answer it to see Emma and her husband. Emma was in a wheelchair.

"Alan how is Bella? They wouldn't tell me anything downstairs." Emma asked of her long-term friend.

"She's had surgery for a bleed on her brain, a broken rib punctured her lung so that had to be dealt with. We are just waiting for her to wake up and to have more tests." Alan explained.

"Oh, the poor girl. I'm so sorry for what has happened." Emma started to tear up.

"Hey, Emma. It's not your fault that a drunk driver decided to crash into you. Don't get upset." Alan hugged Emma and then sat back down.
