Isabella 'Bella' Marie Rickman: I'm Still Standing

Bella had extra practices scheduled in over the next two weekends. It was a lot of hard work, but Bella was enjoying it.

One of the rehearsals was for costume fittings. Bella had told her dance teacher that she was waiting for a reply from Sharleen Spiteri about loaning the dress that she wore from the music video In Demand. But Bella was hopeful that she could get it in time, or find something similar.

The staircase ballet, she had been given a flowing dress to wear and a lovely hair piece to go with the dress.

So, costumes were all fitted for them all. The final programme was assembled.

"I've had a special request from one the Senior's parents. As they must attend a gala on the same night, they have requested that all of the Senior and Inter dances are placed in the second act so that they can attend the dance recital and watch their child perform. Would that be ok with you all? Juveniles and Juniors in the first act with a small mix of the Inters dances and then the Senior and Inters dance in the second act. Plus, also we have a special performance for the finale as well." Miss Sampson had told them all.

The dancers all agreed, but who had made this special request? Well, no one cared as much. It all worked out for the better.

"So then, let's get to the finale from Mama Mia and run straight through." Miss Sampson shouted to them all.

The music started playing and the Juveniles and Juniors came on and started to dance.

At the end of the night, Sophie was outside waiting for Bella to come out from her dance class. Alan was there also waiting in his car for Bella to exit the dance studio.

Bella was chatting away to her dance buddies and headed to the car where Sophie was waiting for her.

Alan was going to get out of the car but decided against it and headed home. Bella looked happy for once in her life since the accident. He would see her soon.

"So, how was dance class?" Sophie asked as she took Bella's dance bag from her also her costumes that were neatly put away in a suit bag.

"It was good. We now have our costumes. I'm just waiting on one costume, I'm hoping to get this from the source." Bella mentioned as she got into the car.

"If you are meaning the dress and the mac coat from Sharleen Spiteri, she sent it by courier whilst you were at dancing class. She's requested a ticket for the recital, so I have booked one for her and I will send Sharleen the information over." Sophie mentioned.

"Oh great, I just need to try it on and bring it tomorrow so that I can try the dance with the mac and dress."

"Oh Jany has also sent something over for you as well. Also, the wig department from Harry Potter has sent something for you as well. I presume this was for your surprise that you were supposed to be doing for your dad?" Sophie told her.

"Yeah, I doubt that I will wear it for him though." Bella started to cry.

"Hey, stop the tears. Your dad will come around. Don't you worry about that. Now let's go and hang up your first costumes and check out the dress and mac coat."
