Isabella 'Bella' Marie Rickman: I'm Still Standing

Part 6

It was over the next few weeks that Bella came around from the surgery. She was having speech therapy as she lost some of her speech. Bella learnt sign language to help her for now until she felt that she was ok to talk. Tom and Alan learnt alongside of her. It was a hard task, but Bella was taking it in her stride.

Alan had arranged for tutors to come in and help Bella in her schooling. This was until she was given the all clear to go back to school.

Tom and Alan were both filming Chamber of Secrets, the second in the Harry Potter franchise. They both visited after they had finished filming for the day. The other child cast members visited when they could, but for Dan, Emma, and Rupert they could only visit once every so often as they were always busy on set.

Dr Parsons had done a final check-up on Bella. She was about to be discharged. Bella still had out-patient appointments and follow ups to go through to make sure that she was healing the right way.

Michael and Sophie had arrived at the hospital to pick up Bella. Alan was still on set filming, so he asked them both to pick her up and bring her to see all her friends.

Bella smiled at Sophie and Michael when they entered her room.

"Hey Bella, it's time to leave. We are going to Leavesden to drop you off with your dad and all your friends. Also, there maybe a little surprise for you." Michael mentioned to Bella.

Bella looked around her room that she was in for the past few weeks. She had packed all the Get-Well cards and the little gifts that her friends had given to her. She turned away from the room and followed Michael and Sophie down to the car that was waiting in the car park.

Whilst travelling, Bella just looked out of the window and watched the view go by. Sophie was sat in the back of the car with Bella. She looked at Bella to see that she wasn't the bright and happy child that she used to be.

Michael checked in at security and got badges for them all.

"Jacob would be so mad that he wasn't with us today." Sophie joked.

Bella didn't smile at all.

Michael pulled up the car in the parking lot and Bella got straight out of the car and walked away from Michael and Sophie.

Michael locked up the car and they both followed Bella who was heading inside to where she knew that the kids would be having tutoring.

Alan was on set filming when he knew that his daughter would be arriving. He was filming the Duelling Club scene with the kids and Kenneth Branagh. He just wanted to get this scene done so he could spend some time with his daughter.

The scene was called and cut within half an hour. The kids had to go on their break and the adult actors went with them.

Alan headed to his trailer where he saw both Michael and Sophie standing waiting to see him.

"So where is Bella?" Alan asked opening his trailer thinking that Bella was inside waiting for him.

"She went inside the studio. I tried to follow her, but she was so quick that I lost sight of her." Sophie mentioned.

"So, she's inside somewhere. Well, let's go and look for her." Alan turned away and headed into the sets.

Tom was just heading to the canteen to grab some lunch when he heard someone crying from one of the rooms that was used for tutoring. It wasn't in use at the moment as everyone was on a break.

He opened the door to see that there was a girl sat there hugging her knees. Tom slowly walked towards the girl.

"Hey there, are you ok?" Tom asked.

Bella turned around and faced Tom with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Oh Bella." Tom took off his Slytherin robe and wrapped it around Bella.

'I can't take this anymore. I need to get out of here.' Bella signed to Tom.

"Why Bella? What's wrong?"

'I just don't want to be here!' Bella got up and pushed Tom away from her and ran out of the room.

Tom quickly got up and followed Bella.

Isabella didn't know where she was running to. She was that much in a panic attack then she just kept on going. Tom managed to catch up with her.

"Bella please, stop running."

Both Tom and Bella collapsed to the ground. She was in floods of tears and couldn't stop crying. Tom remained with her. He hugged and reassured her that she was going to be ok.

Tom looked around to see that they were in the Slytherin common room. This wasn't used much now as they had finished filming the scenes in here. He picked her up and headed to one of the couches. Tom laid Bella down and then he placed himself behind her. He took off the robe that was currently on Bella and wrapped it around them both.

"Sleep well my Princess." Tom kissed her forehead and then settled beside her, and they both were asleep.
