Chapter 4

After lunch, it was around 4 o clock. I had a solid two hours before rehearsals started. I usually like rehearsals and seeing the venue before hand but right now I was dreading going. Mostly because I'm growing a small liking towards Jae, she's so fun to be around. I know the rest of the guys would like her too. Ash even said after we first met her that he thought she was cute. I knew he wouldn't do anything about it though, he goes after blondes more. But for me, Jae is just my type and more.

"So anything else you wanna do?" She asked as we were walking back to the hotel.

I began to stutter I mean, I didn't have anything really planned but I didn't want her to get bored and leave. "Um, not really do you? I have some time still."

"Hm, we'll the shop is closed and I'm not busy the rest of the day either-" her phone started ringing from her pocket. She pulled it out, "Do you mind if I take this? It's Tyler I want to see what he wants," she turned to me.

"No not at all," I replied and she smiled. She answered with a simple hello. They talked for a while which implied her calling him a number of sarcastic insults, but it was funny. She said goodbye after a few minutes and put her phone back in her pocket.

"So Tyler just got Mario kart for the wii in his room, and he invited me to go play but he said I can bring you with so you wanna?" She asked. Can this girl get anymore perfect? I gladly said yes, I love Mario kart. We quickly walked into the hotel, and in the elevator. It was just us in there, she was standing relatively close to me but not close enough to wear her shoulder would be touching me or anything. I think she noticed me staring at her because she looked back at me out of the corner of her eye. I quickly turned my head back and the elevator dinged. The doors opened and I followed her through the silent hallway. The maids kart was parked outside some rooms, doing her daily cleaning. She stopped after a while down the hallway, she pulled out a small card of her bag and opened the door. We walked inside and I shut the door behind me.

"Hey Tyler," Jae greeted him with a hug, I really hope they weren't a thing. I'd feel like such a third wheel.

"What's up dude," I gave Tyler a handshake since I've never fully introduced myself to him.

"I'd just like to say I think your music is pretty awesome and thank you for coming over, it's just me here so you can help yourself to anything," Tyler seemed very nice and polite, I feel like I could be good friends with him. He seemed a lot more calmed down then when I first met him though.

Tyler was sitting on the one chair he had pulled over close up to the TV, I didn't know exactly where to sit down but I wanted to be somewhat close to Jae. I watched as she sat down on the edge of the bed, I carefully sat down next to her, she looked at me and smiled. Tyler handed us each controllers and began starting the game. As we played curses kept being thrown at each other and it included things being thrown around the room. I won a few rounds but Tyler was actually really good, Jae won a solid one or two as well.

Tyler's phone rang and he answered it, pausing the game. I think it was his dad but he went outside in the hall to talk to whoever it was. Jae sighed and laid back onto the bed, putting her controller to her side. Her sweater went up a little bit exposing her stomach, I noticed another tattoo on her side. I couldn't tell what it was because I couldn't see enough of it.

I averted my eyes to not look like a complete creep. I looked at her and just was completely amazed by her. She truly is beautiful and I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else right now.

"Mikey?" She snapped her finger in front of me. "You okay?"

"Yeah, yeah sorry zoned out again." I rubbed my eyes a little bit.

We could both hear Tyler kind of arguing with whoever it was on the phone. I leaned on my elbow and turned to my side a little, still facing her. She looked at me a smiled. "You leave in a few days, where do you go after this?" She said.

"We go back to California, these are the last shows of the tour actually."

"You should stay here, I like having you around," she propped herself up on her elbows too so she was at my eye level.

"Really?"

"Yeah my only friend here is really Tyler and he is always with this one girl Jesse," she was rambling on and my worries kind of settled that Tyler had another girl he's talking to. I took a quick look at the clock under the TV, it was five thirty, I had to leave but I didn't want to.

"Jae I'm sorry to cut you off kinda but I really gotta go, I promise I'll think about trying to stay a little longer. And I'll see you later I just gotta go to rehearsals for the shows coming up." I explained to her and her face dropped a little. I felt so bad for leaving.

"Okay text me later," Jae gave me kind of weird hug since the position we were in but I still enjoyed it. It was a lot longer then a normal hug too. Damn I wanted to kiss her so bad but I didn't. I simple said my goodbye and she said hers, then I picked up my belonging and left, nodding goodbye to Tyler in the hallway. He was just getting off the phone and went inside.  I stayed outside the room just to listen if Jae said anything about me.

"Did you do it?" I heard Tyler ask.

"No," Jae sighed again, "I was going to and I thought he was going to too but I don't know it just didn't happen." They got quieter to where I couldn't hear them and then I had to leave.
