Draco wakes up in his common room but feels like he's missing something. He shrugs off the feeling and gets dressed to start the day.

Draco struts out towards the Great Hall but finds it closed. It doesn't open until 6:30.

He leaned against a pillar and waited for McGonagall to open the doors.

6:30 came and nothing happened. The corridor was now filling up with people and Draco began to feel uncomfortable as the feeling grew stronger.

He looked at the entrance doors which burst open suddenly, making students skitter away.

McGonagall carried a small bundle of clothes in her arms. Though, Draco noticed, upon closer inspection, he could see that it was a person.

A collective gasp could be heard as Harry ran up to McGonagall. "Vanessa!"

Draco's feeling completely disappeared as it dawned on him. He had ditched Nessie completely to go to see her.

As McGonagall set her down on the floor and Harry cleared the hair out of her face, it was evident she was unconscious.

Her face was scratched and dried blood stuck to her hair from a small gash on her head.

Draco held his breath. She looked... bad. There were bags under her eyes and her robes were a bit torn.

He felt nothing. He was only numb as if she were just any person there. As if he didn't know her.

All he did feel, was this desire. This desire to do as he was told and bring Vanessa to her.

Draco looked away and went back to the common room, not hungry anymore.

Hermione saw darkness. That was all she could see, as if though she were blind.

She heard Harry crying and swearing and she wasn't sure but she thought she heard Ron sniffling and comforting Harry.

She wanted to reach out to him. Grab his hand. Tell her she was okay. Explain what happened. Why she left.

But she couldn't. It was as if she were paralyzed and couldn't move at all. Her brain knew and wanted to do something but her body wouldn't respond.

Her eyes opened slowly and everything was out of focus. The lights were bright and the room was spinning.

She still couldn't move, or talk. She felt only despair at seeing Harry so broken and felt guilty.

She had caused this. All because she wanted some freedom. A short vacation where she didn't have to worry for a day or two.

It was all for her personal gain and she never thought how it would affect others.

"Oh god Vanessa how could you?" Harry said. "You put me through hell"

"What happened?" Blaise asked as Draco walked back into the common room in a zombie-like manner.

Immediately, Draco knew what he had to say, even if it wasn't true. "I-I think I have fallen for Granger"

He bit his lip and looked down. Blaise let out a puff of air and sat down. "Seriously mate? Like you're not screwing with me right?"

Draco looked in his eyes. "No Blaise, I am not." He felt numb as he said this like if someone had invaded his mind and somewhere in the depth of his mind, he knew it was her, taking over. Not just to control him, but Blaise also.

"Wow"

"I need you to bring her to me. Tell her to meet me in the Astronomy tower at 9:00pm. Tell her to get pretty and dressed up. Tell no one of this plan."

Draco felt as if a weight had fallen off his shoulders and the numbness was swept away.

He had no recollection of what he had just said or done but he knew he must speak of it to no one. You can't fool
around if you're on her orders.

"Alright mate. Sure." Blaise stood up and patted his shoulder. Draco looked after him as he exited the common room.

Draco checked his watch. 8:00.

He knew he should get going. Potter was never late and if he let it go until later, then she might not be there in time.

He looked at the faded Dark Mark on his arm and wondered if he was making the wrong choice. If he could tell Hermione and everyone would join him and they would fight her.

Who was he kidding, there was no choice.

He felt himself go numb and somewhere, somehow, he felt her searching through his memories to know when and where she should go.

The numbness left him almost immediately and he sat on his bed, and waited.

I knew where I had to go now. All I had to do was find out how to get there. Which actually wasn't that hard.

I was around their age so I could easily buy robes at Madame Malkin's and walk in. Besides, I was already on Hogwarts grounds.

I went to get my robes... well, I stole the robes and I walked into Hogwarts.

Well, I would say I made quite an entrance but it was past curfew and no one was awake.

I made my way to the astronomy tower swiftly, as if I had lived here my whole life when actually, it was the first time I entered Hogwarts.

I made myself invisible, even though I carried no wand, and waited for Vanessa to come.

A few minuted later, at around 8:45, she appeared. She wore a dress and she actually looked pretty, her hair wasn't red.

Obviously. If I had red hair I would get rid of it ASAP.

"Draco?" she called. "Blaise told me to meet you here. Where are you?"

For a dramatic entrance, I decided to show myself. "Hello Vanessa"

Her fear was evident, I was told I gave off an aura of dark power.

"W-Who are you"

"I am who you want me to be" I said and robbed her of her senses.

I carried her and jumped off the tower and we disappeared.

I apparated to the best foreclosure near Hogwarts. I like to choose my stages carefully.

TVD reference anyone?

A knock sounded on the door.

I opened it and an old lady stood there. "Package for Katherine"

"That would be me" I said, and killed her.

I think it's a short chapter but I wanted to end it on a cliff hanger so...
