Know It All

I literally have no idea what to call this chapter

I looked out the window, waiting for the sun to set.

The woman, Katherine, I think her name was, had finally let me go after about an hour I guess. I was unconscious most of the time.

When the sun finally disappeared behind the Forbidden Forest, did I slowly open the window.

It was a long fall, but I trusted Draco. He would catch me. I knew it. But, he wasn't there yet.

I closed my eyes and hoped Draco was a fast runner, because I jumped.

Sure enough, I felt strong arms around me before I hit the floor. Draco had caught me.

"I thought you were gonna wait for me?"

"I was" I said and shrugged.

Draco looked worried.

"C'mon it will be fun" I said.

I tugged him along until we reached the edge of the forest. Katherine had said she would meet us here.

Sure enough, she stood behind a tree, in a black cloak, her eyes gleaming brightly in the moonlight.

She took my hand in hers and Draco's. She jumped up high and I watched as we flew over Hogwarts.

"It's so beautiful" I breathed.

Katherine smiled at me. "I can show you a lot more if you let me"

After a while, she flew down to the floor in a muggle fair. All of the rides were unlit and shut down.

I looked at her questioningly.

She smirked and focused on the giant ferris wheel. It suddenly sprung to life and the colors illuminated the whole place.

I turned around to ask Katherine what I was supposed to do but she was gone.

I looked back at the ferris wheel and started walking toward it. Draco trailed after me.

I started climbing it. I wanted to get to the top. I wanted to know what it looked like. Cars passed by on the road but either didn't notice or didn't care.

When I reached the top, I looked down, noticing that Draco hadn't climbed up after me.

"DRACO" I screamed.

"YEAH?"

"CATCH ME!!" I jumped off. I felt the familiar tingle in my stomach as I sped towards the ground.

"Careful Vanessa, I can't always be here to catch you every time you fall"

"Well, we shall see about that" I said and winked. I climbed the ferris wheel.

I jumped off again but Draco was on the other side of the ferris wheel. Draco was fast. But not fast enough.

I hit the floor and everything turns into darkness.

"VANESSA?! VANESSA?!"

I can hear Draco calling me but I can't move. I try moving, tell him I'm alright, but I cant. The ground beneath me is still grass so I know I'm at the fair.

My head throbs and I probably have a concussion.

I really want to open my eyes but I can't. I feel myself being picked up and soon I felt the wind in my hair.

Katherine.

"Draco?"

He looked up startled,he had not expected to be found. He was in his corner of the library. No one ever went there.

"Are you alright?" Hermione asked him and she walked closer.

"Yea, I'm ok." He wiped away some tears.

"Tell me, what's wrong?"

Draco laughed bitterly. "You wouldn't understand"

"C'mom try me"

"Ok. So there was this girl, I was really mean to her but... but... I... I-I actually liked her." Draco took a deep breath before continuing. "And I wanted to apologize to her, a-a-and be nice to her and try to get her to like me this year. B-b-but I never had the chance to. B-b-because sh-she's... she's dead." Draco burst into sobs at this.

Hermione stayed silent. She knew very well who he was talking about and it shocked her.

"It's ok" she said, trying to soothe him.

"No, it's not ok, not when thing remind me of her."

"What kind of things?" she asked cautiously.

"You" he started crying again. "Y-you're so much like her."

Hermione stayed silent. She was at a loss for words.

"Come, let's go get you some hot chocolate"

**flashback**

Hermione creeped into the boy's dormitories and saw Draco fast asleep.

"It's safer this way" she thought to herself. "Obliviate"

Now no one knew the truth about Hermione's "death."

**end of flashback**

She took Draco to the kitchens where the elves gave him hot chocolate and some treacle tart. It was his favorite dessert.

"Hey, I have a surprise for you." I told him once we left the kitchen. It was already nighttime and Halloween was right around the corner. The muggles would've already decorated their houses.

Hermione tugged him along the great hall to a small secret passageway that led to Hogsmeade.

From there, they apparated to the nearest muggle neighborhood.

It was really pretty. All the houses had lights and cute ghost inflatables.

This seemed to lift Draco's mods considerably.

"God Vanessa, I love you so much right now I could kiss you."

"Go ahead."

won't you catch me when I laaaaand I think I'm in looove again😂 who's heard that song? I forgot the name.

Ok so I haven't updated in a REALLY REALLY long time mainly because I was reading other stories and had no idea what to put and I just realized that the chapter titled "bellatrix lestrange" is over 100 pages... whoops.

So I have to no idea what to put in the next chapter and ideas are VERY welcome. Just comment them and like I'll choose my favorite and give you a shout out and I can't really update until I got something so...
