"What you guys don't understand is, for us, kissing is as important as any part of it." Monica said as the seven friends were all sitting in the coffee house.

Marty happily sat on the armrest of Joey's chair, the Italian keeping an arm wrapped around her to make sure she didn't fall off.

"Yeah, right!" Joey scoffed, before seeing the look that Marty was giving him, "Y'serious?"

"Everything you need to know is in that first kiss." Rachel told him.

"Absolutely." Monica nodded in agreement.

"One hundred percent." Marty added.

"Yeah, I think for us, kissing is pretty much like an opening act, y'know? I mean it's like the stand-up comedian you have to sit through before Pink Floyd comes out." Chandler told the girls.

"Yeah, and-and it's not that we don't like the comedian, it's that-that... that's not why we bought the ticket." Ross continued.

"The problem is, though, after the concert's over, no matter how great the show was, you girls are always looking for the comedian again, y'know? I mean, we're in the car, we're fighting traffic... basically just trying to stay awake." Chandler elaborated, Ross and Joey nodding along.

"Yeah, well, word of advice: Bring back the comedian. Otherwise next time you're gonna find yourself sitting at home, listening to that album alone." Rachel told them, earning a high five from Monica.

Joey sat confused, looking up at Marty, "Are we still talking about sex?"

The redhead smiled, running a hand through his hair, "Oh, Joe."

Marty handed a child their bag of sweets with a smile, before fondly watching the excited little boy and his mother leave the quaint little sweet shop 'The Candy Corner'.

The girl let out a sigh, straightening out the skirt of her dress, before moving around the shop, realigning jars of sweets on the shelves.

"You alright, Marty?" Her friend and co-worker - Jenna - asked, "You've been sighing all afternoon."

"Yeah," Marty hummed, "I've just been thinking about a conversation that I had with my friends today."

"What was the conversation about?" Jenna wondered, as the pair both ,oved to stand behind the counter.

Marty sighed, playing, running her fingers of the old-fashioned till, "Just about dating and kissing and, um, sex."

"Ah," The dark-haired woman nodded in understanding, "I can see how that would've made feel a bit off."
