Monica, Phoebe and Marty entered Central Perk, having a debate.
"You can not do this." Monica begged the blonde woman.
"She's right, Pheebs," Marty nodded, "It's an awful idea."
"Do what, do what?" Rachel asked, on shift.
"Roger wants to take her out tomorrow night." Monica told her.
"No! Pheebs!" Rachel agreed, "Don't you remember why you dumped the guy?"
"'Cause he was creepy," Phoebe sighed, "And mean. And a little frightening... alright, still, it's nice to have a date on Valentine's Day!"
"She's not wrong." Marty nodded.
"But Phoebe, you can go out with a creepy guy any night of the year. I know I do." Monica frowned, Marty rubbing her shoulder sympathetically.
"Well, what are you guys doing tomorrow night?" Rachel asked Chandler and Joey.
"Actually, tomorrow night kinda depends on how tonight goes." Joey smirked over at Chandler, who sighed.
"Oh, uh, listen, about tonight..."
"No, no, no, don't you dare bail on me," Joey told him, "The only reason she's goin' out with me is because I said I could bring a friend for her friend."
"Yes, I know, but her friend sounds like such a-"
"Pathetic mess? I know," Joey cut him off with a nod, "But—come on, man, she's needy, she's vulnerable. I'm thinkin', cha-ching!"
The women rolled their eyes at him and Rachel threw a roll at Joey, only for him to pick it up and eats it.
"Thanks. Look, you have not been out with a woman since Janice. You're doin' this." Joey told him, as Ross excitedly went over to the guys.
"So, Marty?" Rachel smirked, the women turning to look at the redhead.
"What?"
"What are you doing tomorrow night?" Phoebe asked with a teasing smile, making Marty blush.
"Where's Scott taking you for your first proper Valentine's Day?" Monica asked with a grin.
"He's taking me dancing." Marty sighed dreamily, making the girls giggle.

Walking though the hallway the next day, on her way to Monica and Rachel's apartment for some advice on her Valentine's Day date, Marty fiddled with her fingers, she came across Monica outside her door, talking to Chandler - who was in his pyjamas - and Janice.
"Janice, hey." Marty smiled.
"Marty!" Janice squealed, hugging the redhead, "A little birdie told me that you have a boyfriend now."
"Uh, yeah." Marty nodded with a blush, as she pulled away from the hug.
"Rach, come see who's out here!" Monica called into the apartment, making Rachel exit the apartment.
"Oh my god. Janice, hi!" The brunette grinned.
"Janice is gonna go away now." Chandler chuckled, unhappy.
"I'll be right back." Monica smirked, going back into the apartment, as Joey came up the stairs.
"Oh, Joey, look who it is." Rachel said, gesturing over at Janice.
Joey stared in disbelief, "Whoa."
"Oh, good, Joey's home now." Chandler groaned.
"This is so fun!" Janice exclaimed, "This is like a reunion in the hall."
Monica then came out with her cordless phone, "Oh, hi, Ross. Yeah. There's someone I want you to say hi to," She said, handing the phone to Janice, seeing the look on Chandler's face, "He just happened to call."
"Hi, Ross. Yes, it's me. How did you know?" Janice laughed obnoxiously.
Marty turned to Chandler with a smile, copying Janice's laugh.

Marty let out a squeal as Scott spun her under his arms, giggling when he caught her again.
"So the girls are having a boyfriend bonfire tonight did you say?" Scott asked.
"Yep." Marty nodded.
"What are the odds that there will be a fire truck outside of their apartment building by midnight?"
"Very high," Marty giggled, making her boyfriend chuckle, too. Resting her head on his chest, the girl said, "Thank you, Scott."
"For what?"
"I know I mustn't be the easiest person to be in a relationship, especially with my lack of experience in this department. So thank you for making my first actual Valentine's Day special." Marty smiled up at him, kissing his cheek.
"You're welcome," Scott said, holding her tighter, "And as for your lack of experience, never apologise for it. As far as I'm concerned, I love that I'm the first person that you've been in a relationship."
Marty raised an eyebrow, "Really?"
"Really," Scott nodded, "Because it means that I'm the only person who has ever been blessed enough to hold you like this and shower you with affection. It means I'll be able to give you a lot of your firsts."
Marty blushed, nuzzling her face into his chest, making him kiss her head as they danced amongst the rest of the couples to the smooth jazz bouncing around the hall.
