Marty sat on her bed in her loft apartment, reading a book, when the door opened and she heard someone take of their shoes.
Smiling, the girl called out, "Hey, Scott."
"Marty!" Scott grinned, running up the stairs to greet her, almost slipping on his socks, tackling his girlfriend into a hug, making her let out a squeal, wrapping her arms around him.
"What was that for?" Marty asked with a laugh, greeting him with a kiss.
"Guess who just finished their book." Scott smirked.
"Really?!"
"Yep," Scott nodded proudly, "Finished the last read over fifteen minutes ago, then came right here."
"Oh, that's great, Scott," Marty told her boyfriend, hugging him before pulling away with a wide grin, "Does that mean I can read it now."
Scott looked down, rubbing the back of his neck, "Uh, not yet. Want it to be a total surprise, you know?"
"Sure," Marty nodded, "So now you just have to send it to different publishers and hope that one of them pick your book?" She asked, playing with his fingers.
"Exactly," Scott smiled, "And then hopefully I will become a published author."
Marty placed her hand on the back of his neck, kissing him softly, "I'm so proud of you."
Scott blushed, leaning his forehead on hers, "I love you."
"I love you, too," Marty smiled, "Even though you did make me lose my place in my book."

Scott smiled lovingly over at Marty as the girl played with Ben, Carol and Susan having brought him over to Monica and Rachel's apartment.
Coming out from her bedroom with a grin, Monica held a present in her hands with a grin, "Okay, these were unbelievably expensive, and I know he's gonna grow out of them in like, 20 minutes, but I couldn't resist." She squealed, revealing a little pair of Nike shoes.
"Oh, look at these! Hey, Ben. Just do it," She imitated and Ben started to cry in Marty's arms, making Phoebe worry, "Oh my God, oh, ok, was that too much pressure for him?"
"Oh, is he hungry already?" Susan asked as Marty passed the boy over to Carol.
"I guess so." Carol nodded, before starting to breast feed Ben, causing Joey and Chandler to move to the kitchen, uncomfortable as Ross followed them.
Marty only rolled her eyes at the two men, taking a seat next to Scott at the window, "Boys." She chuckled.
"You better hope they're not like that when it's our baby." Scott commented, freezing once he realised what he said.
