Nalani POV

Taehyung came and got me and we got in the car.

"Where do you wanna go?" Taehyung asked.

"Sir it is your birthday." I said making him laugh.

"Oh right. Right. We're going to Red Lobster." He said.

"I wish you would have told me. I wouldn't have dressed up this much." I said.

"You look beautiful Lani don't even worry about it." He said.

"Thank you." I said. We went to the restaurant and sat in a secluded place by ourselves and I picked up the menu.

We ordered and everything and as we were waiting for our food I was just sitting there. Looking at the wall.

"Nalani." Taehyung said and I looked at him.

"Yes?" I said.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"Sorry for what Tae?" I said laughing.

"For everything I've ever put you through. I'm so so sorry Nalani. Seriously." He said.

"Taehyung. It's done. It's okay." I said.

"No. It's not okay. It's really not. You were just forgiving me and we get into one argument and my dumbass goes and sleeps with—"

"Don't mention her name. It's your birthday please." I said and held his hand.

"I can't remember the last time you even touched me." He said.

"Don't get used to it. Birthday or not." I said making him laugh.

We ate and talked and laughed and it was really nice talking and everything with Tae. No matter what we've been through together, this man is my best friend. I tell him everything. I haven't been able to in a while. But it's like I've been saving it all up to tell him. And he had interesting shit to tell me.

We talked a lot. It was never a dull moment at that table. After we ate he paid the tab. And we left and got in the car.

"I don't wanna go home yet. Even though Prince probably in there annoying the hell out Caedon." I said making Taehyung laugh.

"I don't want you to go either. Let's just...drive around. No. We should go get a cake." He said and I nodded and clapped.

We didn't even put that much thought into it. We just went to Walmart and got a cake and a candle and a lighter. And he got a little table out of there and went to a part in the parking lot where no one else was. And set it up and I sang happy birthday to him.

"Make a wish." I said hugging him and he smiled.

Taehyung POV

I wouldn't tell her this. But I wished she would at least completely forgive me and actually be over it like she says she is. And this might be pushing it just a little. But I wished we would get back together. One day. I really really need her. Like really.

"Yay! Twerk! Twerk! One time for the birthday bitch!" She said running the car. She quickly connected her phone and blasted that song she plays on everyone's birthday.

"Fuck it up if it's your birthday bitch!" She said making me laugh and we damn sure started dancing in the parking lot. We ate the cake.

"I got you a gift Tae." She said.

"Really?" I said a little surprised. The biggest gift was that she even came anywhere with me in the first day.

"Okay. Come here." She said pulling my arms to her. And I stood in front of her.
