Nalani POV

After Breakfast

We left IHOP and got in the car and headed to the mall. Prince was pushing the stroller and I noticed that Prince was taking care of Caedon so me and Taehyung would have no choice but to be close to each other.

They both think I'm dumb. But I'll play along for now.

"Oh my God candy." I said pointing and running. When I got there I made myself a bag of candy putting all my favorites in it. And a couple of Taehyung's in it. Because I knew he was gonna want some.

And he insisted on paying for the bag. And as we continued walking he came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me. And I just let him.

Taehyung POV

I was more than surprised when Nalani let me keep my arms around her. She normally would be quick to push me off of her. But I wasn't gonna say anything and fuck this up for me.

"You want a piece?" She said breaking off a piece from her KitKat. And I nodded and she fed it to me. And continued eating.

"You're so pretty." I said looking at her and she smiled looking down.

"Thank you Tae." She said putting her hand on mines. I couldn't show it but it was making me weak in the knees and warm in the heart to know that she was finally letting us get back to normal.

Not implying that we're in a relationship. But just letting me be all on her like I used to. But i didn't want to do anything to push it and test the waters. So I just let it be at what it was.

We kept walking and I watched her show. It was entertaining, the way she would scrunch up her face at the clothes she didn't like. And how she would get excited and pick up anything sparkly. But then she picked up a dress and made Prince come over to look at it.

"Yuh. This is the motherfucking one." I heard Prince say.

"Let me see." I said.

"No." They both said and I put my hand on my chest.

"Well damn." I said.

"No. It's not like that. I would just...rather you see it later." Nalani said looking excited making me laugh.

"Okay. Okay." I said stepping back.

She got some shoes and let me see the shoes. They were black with some gold on them. But she was not letting me see that dress for shit.

"How am I supposed to pay for the dress if I can't see it?" I said.

"Just give me the card? I know your credit card info." She said holding out her hand and I sighed and just gave her my card.

"I appreciate you." She said smiling.

"Come here." I said motioning her closer and she stepped up closer to me.

"Yes?" She said looking at me.

"I like the way you're looking at me." I said looking her up and down and she laughed and hit my chest and I grabbed her wrist.

"I'm serious." I said.

"Anyway sir. Watch that baby." She said taking her wrist from me and walking over to the register. And I pulled Caedon's stroller closer to me and checked on him.

"Boy you slobbing all on your clothes." I said getting a tissue and wiping his mouth and he looked at me.

"You look so much like Nalani." I said holding his hand.

I waited on Nalani and Prince and Nalani did a little more shopping for some clothes and I just let her not only because it's her birthday. But I just want her to have everything she's ever wanted. Genuinely. But she has NO idea of all the stuff she is going to get for her birthday. And I'm more than excited to see her reaction to them

Nalani POV

I shopped some more and Taehyung was holding all the bags. And I was feeling a little bad. So I went over to him.

"I'm sorry for spending up all your money." I said looking at him and he laughed.

"Nalani it's okay. Buy whatever you want beautiful." He said looking at me and I poked out my bottom lip making him laugh and I hugged him laying my cheek on his chest.

"Thank you Tae. Thank you." I said and he wrapped his arm around me holding me closer.

"What else do you want?" He asked.

"No. You've done enough." I said shaking my head.

"No ice cream?" He asked knowing I love me some damn ice cream.

"....Y-no. No. You will not tempt me. I said no." I said shaking my head and he laughed.

When I said I was done we left and got in the car and I was texting Prince about this dress I just got for my "birthday outfit".

prince: i just know taehyung is just gonna wanna gobble you the fuck up in that dress

me: that is not why i bought the dress bitch

prince: you're a fucking liar. i see right through you bitch. if you want some dick from him just say that

me: excuse me...

prince: i am your best friend and your cousin i'm not gonna tell him

me: girl go to hell

I said and rolled my eyes and turned off my phone and heard Prince laugh.

"Fuck you." I said making him laugh harder.

I lowkey did buy that dress because I knew Taehyung would really like it. But I'm not gonna admit that.

And Prince does see right through me. We've known each other for the longest you could know a damn person. We always did everything with each other when we were kids and we still do everything together. I read his mind and he reads mine. So I don't even think I have to say anything because deep down Prince does know that I still want Taehyung.

Taehyung is obviously making an effort, and I know if I asked Taehyung right now to get back together with me. He would jump at the opportunity. But I want Tae to make a bigger effort so I know for sure he wants to be with me and only me. Like...I don't know how to explain it but I just wanna see it in this mans eyes that he will always love me.
