Here's another chapter to honour the finale of season five. No idea what I'm going to do with my life for the next seven months....

Sydnie's POV
I watched as Carol drove the truck in through the front gate of the prison. "Okay lets get the other car in," Rick said. "We'll park them in the west entry of the yard.""Good," Daryl said from beside me. "Our vehicles out there look like a giant 'vacancy' sign."
Rick nodded. "After that we have to load up these corpses so we can burn 'em." I groaned and Daryl playfully nudged side.
"This is gonna be a long day," T-Dog groaned.
"Where's your brother and Maggie," Carol asked me. "We could use some help."
"Up in the guard tower," I grinned. Daryl chuckled and I leaned into his side as he threw an arm over my shoulder.
"Guard tower?" Rick smirked. "They were just up there last night."
"Glenn! Maggie!" Daryl shouted.
I slapped his chest, "Let them have some fun Daryl." He rolled his eyes as we waited for them to come out of the guard tower.
"Hey," Glenn said from the guard tower. He didn't have a shirt on and was doing up his belt. "What's up guys?"
Daryl chuckled and held me to his side. "You cumin?" I started laughing along with the rest of the group.
"What?" Glenn asked.
"You comin?" He said serious this time. "Come on, we could use a hand."
Glenn waved us off, "Yeah, we'll be right down."
He went back into the guard tower and I brushed off Daryl's arm. "You're so mean."
Daryl smirked at me. "It's one of my greatest features Syd." We laughed and walked down to where his bike was waiting to be brought in with the Hyundai.
"Hey Rick," T-Dog called. We looked up and our smiles faded, the two prisoners were walking towards us. Anger crossed Rick's face as he jogged over to them.
I looked at Daryl and he just shook his head as we followed after Rick. "That's close enough," Rick told them. "We had an agreement."
"Please mister," Axel reasoned. "We know that. We made a deal, but you gotta understand." I saw Maggie and Glenn come out of the guard tower, I met my brothers gaze and focused back on the inmates. "We can't live in that place another minute. You follow me? All the bodies, people we knew. Blood, brains, everywhere."
"Why didn't you move the bodies out?" Daryl asked from beside me. I looked down and saw that his hand was resting over his knife. I gently took his hand in mine, pulling it off of his knife.
"We tried," Axel said. "We did."
Oscar shifted. "The fence is down on the far side of the prison. Every time we drag a body out, those things just line up. We're just dropping the bodies and running back inside."
"Look," Axel said walking closer, I saw Rick reach for his gun. "We didn't have nothing to do with Thomas and Andrew, nothing. We'll do whatever it takes to be part of your group. Just please, please, don't make us live in that place."
Rick shook his head, "Our deal is non negotiable. You either live in your cellblock, or you leave."
Oliver glared at Rick. "I knew this was a waste of time. You guys ain't no different then the pricks who shot up our boys. You know how many friends corpses we threw out his week? Just threw them out, like. These were good guys. They had our backs against the really bad dudes, like Thomas and Andrew. I know we've all made mistakes to get in here. And I'm not going to pretend to be a saint, but believe me when I say we've paid our due. Enough that we would rather hit that road, then to go back into that shithole."
