Chapter 7: Abyss of Nightmare

Right after catching up with Shauna and Kaylyn, We went back inside and ate breakfast. We ate bread with jam spread. The jam was flavored grapes so it was so delicious. I felt so peaceful with them around me. In fact, It was so peaceful, I think something's going to be bad. But scram that, we're happy. As long as we're like that, it'll be okay. So, we're in the living room, catching up through the days, telling stories, making jokes, laughing. I feel so much happy now. The village didn't have electricity so we have to struggle using candles and stuff. The stove's full, so we have no problem at cooking. The fridge's full also. The supplies we have might last about a month and a half. After eating breakfast, we went to the living room to catch up with them. The house was filled with joy and happiness with them around. Time was travelled using social interactions. It was 12:30 PM. Lunch time. Saira and Empress cooked lunch, while me, Shauna and Kaylyn stayed in the living room, having fun, making jokes, tripping each other. That's how we interact when we're in the school. We had a lot of fun. But then I feel the desire to sleep. So I decided to sleep in the bedroom, while the girls are having a conversation. I don't know what it's about but I don't care as long as we're safe and alive. I fell asleep. I was having a good sleep until Empress woke me up, screaming and looked scared.

Chris! Chris! Wake up! Walkers around the house! Screaming and shouting at me. She looked scared
What?! How many? Me, asking. Still confused about what's going on.
A horde of walkers, Chris! She was shaking and screaming. I saw Saira and Shauna packing up things, while Kaylyn was the lookout.
What the-- Come on, let's go! We have to leave!

We went to the front gate, unfortunately it was full of walkers. 
Saira, is there any exits we can go? I, too, was scared to death.
There was none, Chris. That's the only way out! Saira was scared too. All of us are scared to death
Sh*t. There's no way out. We have to make a stand here or else we'll die! Grab your weapons! We won't give up! Even in the face of death, I managed to encourage them with verbal abilities.
I was the first line of defense. 
We have to get out of here! Or else, death awaits us!

I grabbed my baseball bat. It was made of metal, so I can say it's durability is high and it's attack damage is high too. It can splash a corpse's head with one critical blow at the head. Empress' weapon is a machete. 24 inches long, very sharp edges, stained with blood, red handle. Durability is high and it's attack is very high. Saira's weapon was a cleaver. Orange handle, blood-stained, sharp edges. Durability, normal. Damage, high. While Shauna and Kaylyn's weapon was a kitchen knife. Each of them has one. 

I swung my bat at the corpse's head, splashing its guts around the house. Spilling its blood all over the floor. Empress swayed her machete, cutting of the heads of walkers. Saira struck her cleaver through the head of the walkers. Unfortunately, Saira can't take off her cleaver off the head of the walker. A walker attacked Saira, grappling Saira and rolled to the ground. 
Saira! Empress shouted, and I got her attention. I quickly looked at Saira, she was on the ground, struggling and grappling the walker, preventing the walker to bite her. I quickedly rushed to them and struck the walker's head. It's guts spilled on the floor. I helped Saira get up on her feet.

I quickly rushed to the front gate. 
Everyone, follow me! Kill walkers at sight. Don't let them bite or scratch you. Come on, let's go.

We ran like hell just to stay away from the dead. We don't know where to go. We just ran and ran and ran until we lost the walkers. I found a house, just in front of us.
Hey, we can hole up on that house. Just for the night. it's better inside than struggling here outside. I said.
Good idea, coz' I'm beat. Phewww.. Shauna explained
Yeah, me too. I'm out of energy. Saira too was exhausted
We should stay there.. Kaylyn muttered in

We went in, still in fighting stance. We don't know what we might encounter. When I finally knew that we're safe in this house, I let them rest first. Actually, we stayed up in a mansion or something. Because it was big. It's color outside was white. Pure white. And here on inside was Green, white and sky blue. The ceiling was white, the floor was covered with a floor cover, designed with a pattern like a plus sign. It was colored sky blue. And the walls are green, my favorite color. I felt peaceful because of that color. Anyways, Saira, Shauna and Kaylyn was so exhausted, they fall asleep on the couch. I pretty much laughed on them. But today was intense, so it was not avoidable. On the other hand, Empress headed to the bedroom, she too, was exhausted. I stayed up again. Just to protect them. I thought of something. Why the Gods has sent these creatures? Or is there a God? Somebody on Earth has thought of something. Life is precious. It needs to be preserved. Is this how it must be preserved? To reduce our population? Then suddenly, I got back to the reality world when I heard Empress screamed. I quickly rushed towards Empress' room and saw her, crying. I thought walkers attacked her. Maybe she was just dreaming. 

Empress, Empress! Wake up! You're Dreaming! I tried to wake her up while shaking her.
Wha-- what? Empress woke up. She was crying. Then after seeing me, she hugged me so tight. I don't know why, but I hugged her back.

Why, Empress? What happened?
Don't leave us, Chris! Don't leave me alone! She's still crying. I hugged her tightly.
I won't leave you, Empress. I won't. Never.
She's still crying but she decided to talk about what happened
I had a nightmare, Chris. You...died.
What!? That could never happen.
But it looks like it could happen! I don't want you to die....
I won't die, Empress.
But... but...
Shhhhh.... I touched her lips with my finger to stop her from thinking about what she dreamed of. But she's still crying.
Don't worry, Empress. I won't die. I will be always at your side no matter what.
She was still crying. I have to make her stop crying. So I kissed her. Kissed her on the lips. I grabbed her head, pushing it towards mine. I was on the right side and she was on the left. She looked surprised when I kissed her, but a few seconds away, she kissed me back. I grabbed her body, hugging her while kissing her. I went in front of her, so I can kiss her intensely. I closed my body to hers, leaned in and kissed her intensely. She was gradually kissing me back. We were kissing very intense. I grabbed her body, Empress grabbed my head, she pushed my head to deepen our kiss. I rolled over, putting her on top, and me on the bottom. Kissing very intense, grabbing each other's bodies. I rolled again, now she was on the bottom, and I'm on the top. I leaned in my body, deepens the kiss, and kissed very intense. Then I kissed her neck. I heard her moaned, so I kept it that way. I was kissing her neck, she was moaning and hugging me. I saw her lipbite, maybe it was a sign. So I went back to her lips, kissing it very intense. Then gradually, it became slow. We are now kissing slowly, which makes it more romantic. Empress stopped. I, too, stopped. Then we cuddled. Empress fell asleep, but still cuddling me. So I cuddled her back too. We cuddled all night. All night long, indeed.
