Chris

Empress was kissing me. I kissed her back. I looked at her, her eyes are at peace, her lips are smooth and shiny.

I grabbed her head, closes my body to hers, and grabs her body, pushing it towards mine. We were kissing, love filled the air.

After a deep expression of love of our selves, I was awakened by a ray of light that struck my eyes. I sat up on the bed, my eyes was half open, scratching my back, then suddenly, I realized that I was alone in the bed. Then something came to me, that the kissing me and Empress made was just a dream that I was away from home, that I am with Karin.

"Karin?" I called out if she's somewhere near me.

"Yes, Chris?" She then entered the room.

"Ahh oh nothing. I just checked if you were around."

"Ahh, well, I'm here so... Yeah... Hmmm..."

Karin's a bit wierd today. She's been blushing when I look at her. The hell's going on with me? Or is it just her? Nevermind, we need to reach our destination so we can go home early.

I grabbed my night-camouflaged coat, along with my mechanism functioned sword, my hidden blade, and my six-rounded revolver.

I equipped them to their rightful places. The sword goes to my utility belt, the hidden blades goes to my both left and right wrists, and my revolver on ny chest holster.

"We're leaving now. Are you packed up?" I asked Karin as I walked out of the bed, checking my equipments, looking around the house.

"Uhhh... Yeah.. I am. Let's go?"

"Let's go."

We're a hundred meters away from the refuge. We're pretty close.

I killed a few walkers on the way, it's not a big deal, really. Just go for the classic: aim for the head.

The road we were walking on was wide. The sides of the road was empty. It was just grass that surrounds the road.

We are just a few meters away and I can see the refuge. It has captured the whole road. It blocked the whole road.

Is this an open refuge? Because the gates were just open and I can see so many people, chillin' and smiling. Looks like they have forgotten about that there's an outbreak and they're just continuing what they're doing with their everyday life.

We're infront of the refuge. The road's blocked by used vehicles stumbled to the ground and barricaded with wood boards and metal sheets. I can see the inside. There's shops, houses, clinics, and there's a mayor's residence. I can see that there is someone who's running around this place. It's amazing.

"What do you think, Karin? Is this place enough to keep us alive?"

"Well, yes, actually. This place is humongous.

"Then it's settled. We're living here."
