This is 'Dear Iris', a fan fiction set somewhere between the 1940's and some period in time which exists in my imagination. It is also set somewhere I have completely imagined, there are visuals at the end of this chapter but for now, let me give you some warnings.

This book contains/mentions strong and descriptive violence, talks of mental illness, alcohol consumption, sexual harassment, sexual and domestic abuse, sexual content and strong language.

At the beginning of potentially triggering chapters I will do my best to inventory possible triggers and provide a summary at the end of the chapter. Please do not hesitate to let me know if I have missed something and it requires a trigger warning. I'll be more than happy to add one.

This is a work of fiction. No character represents real lifeand before I get comments about 'unrealistic' things, this is fiction. I write fiction to escape reality and if my version of escaping reality contains flying donkeys, then so be it, (it doesn't, don't worry).
