Valentina Laskaris never expected much from her life, mainly filled with distracting herself and her younger brother from their chaotic home. But when an unfair court judgement and accidental misplacement lands her a room in the male dorm of the River Valley Boarding School For Troubled Youth, Valentina's life takes a dramatic turn.
Especially when her roommate is none other than the notorious playboy, Luca Azevedo.
! M U S T R E A D !
Ⅰ. There are many mentions of abuse throughout the story, along with drugs, death, assault etc. There are many mentions of suicide, self-harm and intrusive and harmful thoughts. If any of this bothers you or makes you uncomfortable, please do not read on. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable.
Ⅱ.Valentina is the walking definition of sarcasm. I love writing her so much and her comebacks to literally anything said by anyone. With that said, she's kind of a bitch at the beginning, but I promise it will be explained further in the story.
Ⅲ. THIS IS A SLOW BURN. Super juicy stuff will take a while to happen. But, there are steamy scenes and I'm sorry if it's cringey or weird, but I've never written smut before, so it won't be extreme but it will be there.
Ⅳ. EVERYTHING IN THIS BOOK IS MINE. I KNOW that other stories have tropes where the girl is in the male dorm, and it's set in a boarding school, but everything in this book is MINE. I know there are multiple stories similar to mine, but I PROMISE that all events, tropes, scenes etc that occur in this book all come from my brain. Please don't compare it to other books or say I stole ideas from them because I really didn't. I promise.
Ⅴ. I don't know how boarding schools or American schools, or how the schooling system works, so I apologise if any of it's wrong. I've looked into it obviously, but things like sporting seasons, end and start of school dates, might be wrong, so I apologise.
Ⅵ. There are mental disorders mentioned throughout this book, some of which I am unfamiliar with (meaning I'm not sure what it's fully like for someone to go through it) so I'm so sorry if anything is incorrect or wrong. I try to look up everything about what I'm writing about before so that I know, but I'm really sorry if any of it is wrong.
ⅥⅠ. There are LGBTQ+ themes in this book. If that bothers you for whatever reason, feel free to stop reading here. Don't leave rude comments on the chapters including LGBT themes, just don't read it. It's easy, trust me.
EDIT: ⅥⅠⅠ. Halfway through writing this, I realised how many chapters there were and how many of them were just scenes or single events stretched out over multiple chapters, which is also why there seem to be so many with nothing happening (not a spoiler <3). It was a mistake I made when I first started writing it, but I can't go back to change it now so I apologise if things or chapters seem stretched out or prolonged, I was just stupid for a bit.

Hello!
While I was writing 'Amore', (a now unpublished book) I got a sudden shit ton of ideas for new books. So I wrote them all down and decided I would write one after Amore was finished. But an idea that stood out most was this one, and I was so excited that I couldn't wait to finish Amore to start writing it.
I love this book so much and all the plans I have for it, and I'm so excited for you to read it!
I have no update schedule by the way, I update when a chapter is ready and when I'm happy and confident with it.
EDIT: updates are every Friday. It may be a bit sporadic in the months coming up because I have a lot of exams, but regularly, updates are every Friday :)
