IT HAD BARELY been half an hour since we arrived and already, Oliver was on his third drink with Finnick loitering around him, Mac had disappeared and Dallas was in a bedroom stealing shit.
Miles went everywhere Oliver went because he insisted on letting everyone know that they had a shared costume.
To be honest, I didn't think people would go full-out for a Halloween party, so I was quite surprised when I saw people rocking up in full knight armour, fake blood and wounds, and impressively well-done movie characters.
No one was anything from Monster High, thankfully, and despite all the other costumes, Kaya, Charlotte and I were obviously the best dressed.
Everything looked better once it was actually put on and styled with hair and makeup, and we all looked really good.
We got ready in Kaya's dorm and decided that we'd have the sleepover we talked about a while ago tonight since all our shit was already in her room.
I hadn't seen Luca after I practically bolted out of the bathroom when I was finished with his look, and I don't know if he'd seen me, but I have seen everyone else.
I did Charlotte's makeup, which was the simplest I had done out of them all since it was literally just a bunch of blue, green, and eyeshadow over fishnet stockings to give a scaley effect.
I haven't had a drink yet since I was more focused on getting used to where everything was and making sure I knew where everyone I knew was even if they would move a minute later.
And once I've done so, nothing can stop me when I make my way up to the bar in the living room.
The house is insane. It's even bigger than the house at the last party and it's filled with marble, quarts, pillars and expensive shit whereas the last house was black marble, leather and wood.
The living room alone is enough to easily fit eight dorms from Lexington into it, and it's filled with a large U-shaped lounge that sits in the middle with a fireplace wall in front of it and a massive TV mounted on it that some boys are currently playing Mario Kart on.
In the corner sits a grand piano, in the other corner is a proper mini bar with a small quartz island to make the drinks on and behind it is a full benchtop with every drink-making necessity someone could think of.
The entire wall above the bar, ending when the bench does, is filled with glass shelves filled with bottles of alcohol, mixers, spirits and everything else.
"Sexy fuckin' costumes, god damn." Some dude whistles as the three of us make our way to the bar.
"Too bad it's all you'll see," Kaya shrugs pitifully as we pass them, sending them a little fleeting wave of her fingers.
