Bea made her way to the tourney field in tears, finding Finn and Lonnie fawning over Esme in her new cheer uniform. When Finn spotted Bea, her eyebrows furrowed. "Hey. What's wrong?"
"Chad," she said simply.
"Again?" Lonnie questioned fiercely. "I swear, Bea, I don't understand why you're still-"
"We're done."
"Why aren't we celebrating?" Esme asked, genuinely confused.
"He never gave a shit," Bea cried. "He was only with me for the fucking crown."
"Oh, Bea," Finn said.
Lonnie moved forward carefully as Bea sobbed until the future queen collapsed into her arms. The other girls quickly joined their sides, embracing the brunette as she cried on their shoulders.

Bea was able to pull herself together enough to perform the cheers with the squad, but her face was clearly distressed. Bea was dancing around the field while her face read disdain and dejection.
She caught Chad's eye towards the end of the game and she was about ready to burst out in tears again. Eros caught the look, too. He pulled Esme over to the bench while the cheer girls were taking a break. "What's up with Rose?" he asked, staring after Bea as she massaged her temples exhaustedly. Even in her state of turmoil, she managed to maintain an air of beauty and nobility in the bright blue, yellow, and white cheer uniform and french braids completed by Esme.
"She and Chad are done," Esme told him and Hugo quietly. "We're the only ones who know. Plus Finn and Lonnie. Fucking asshole."
"He ended it?" Hugo asked.
"Not technically. But he might as well have." Esme's fiery eyes locked on the curly-haired blonde across the field. "Off with his fucking head."
The girls returned to cheering over the announcer's remarks from the field. "This is a nailbiter, folks. Forty-seven seconds left on the clock and we're all tied up. The Sherwood Falcons, two. The Fighting Knights, two. What a game between Auradon's fiercest rivals. As the teams get into their huddles and take up positions along the Kill Zone, the dragoneers have been laying down a withering hail of fire."
On the sideline, the tourney coach called one of his players out and prepared to send Eros in. Between choreographed cheers, Bea glanced over to see Eros convince the coach to let Hugo in for the final play. For the first time since the breakup, a smile graced her features as she watched the pair run onto the field.
"He's bringing that hothead, Eros Grimhilde, in from the Isle of the Lost and that little guy, Hugo Olympia, who can barely hold a shield. As they break from their huddles, this is gonna be a big moment here." The whistle blew as the ball was thrown into play. "And the tipoff is ready. Here we go.
