That night, every Auradon Prep student was summoned to the auditorium building for Bea's coronation celebration. The music was loud, the lights were roaming, and the alcohol was strong. Even Bea agreed to take a couple shots of vodka. Considering she barely ever drank, this was enough to make her tipsy.

At some point, Benny and the villain kids were making their way through the party when someone called out to their right. The five turned and saw Lonnie and Jane by a ping pong table. "We were looking for partners," Jane said, biting her lip as she looked at Hugo.

Lonnie walked up and took Esme's hand. "How about it?"

Esme smiled and grasped her hand. "Okay."

"I'm down," Hugo shrugged. Eros clapped his shoulder, sending him off towards the pong game.

"Sh. They're flirting," Finn repeated, remembering how Bea reacted that first night. "Where'd Queenie sneak off to anyway?"

"That's right. She'd love this," Eros said, looking around the crowds.

The remaining three split up to find the queen, Eros searching the party, Finn the back leading to the forest, and Benny the second level of the building. He eventually glanced into a small room with a window. He did a double take, almost having missed the locks of her brown hair blowing in. Benny smiled and moved towards the opening. He poked his head out and, sure enough, there was his sister, lazily looking his way as she blew out a line of smoke.

"We were all looking for you, ya know?"

The corner of Bea's mouth quirked up. "Maybe I knew and just didn't care."

"I would join you, but... I care about my safety."

"Oh, of course. It has nothing to do with that crippling fear of heights, does it?"

"Course not."

Bea nodded as another head popped out of the window. "What are we doing?" Eros asked before climbing out the window and plopping down beside Bea. Benny cringed and looked away when Eros leaned it to peck her mouth. Bea laughed at her twin as the boy beside her took the smoke from between her fingers and took a drag.

"Shit! What are you guys doing out there?!" Finn called from down in the yard.

"Fucking!" Eros yelled back, earning a slap to the arm from Bea even as he laughed and Benny cracked a smile. "She's terrified of heights, you know."

"Oh, my God. She and Benny deserve each other," Bea chuckled.

"Mmkay. I'm gonna leave you guys to kill yourselves or fuck or whatever," Benny said, heading back towards the party.

"Jesus Christ," Bea cursed with a laugh, taking the cigarette back and taking a drag.

Eros leaned his head back and smiled watching the smoke billow from her mouth. "You're fucking beautiful, you know that, right?"

The corner of Bea's mouth turned upwards as she looked over at him. "If you say so." She reached out and held his cheek before pulling his lips to hers. Eros' hands fell to her waist as Bea quickly put the cigarette out beside them. Eros pulled Bea onto his lap as their mouths moved together. Bea pulled back from a second as their rapid breaths mingled. Her fingers traced down the new chain around his neck and down to the rose pendant on his chest. "Do you wanna do this for real?"

Eros' eyebrows furrowed. "Fuck?"

"Date!" Bea corrected incredulously, hitting his arm.

Eros laughed lightly. "Are you kidding? That's all I want."

"Good," she said, pecking his mouth. "It's decided then. You're my boyfriend."

"Well, if you say so, Rosie. I mean, you didn't stand a chance in the first place, did you?"

Bea smiled. "I guess I didn't, God of Love."

see what i mean? it's such a perfect circle ending and i'm obsessed w circle endings. anyway, this book is on hiatus now so... doesn't mean it's over forever. i may have a moment at some point where i'm hit w inspiration and feel the need to write a second act. i have a lot of qualms with the rest of the series and i'd love to rewrite the plots. i think it would be a fun experiment so... i guess we'll see.
