The first week had gone by swiftly, no hassle, no issue. Well, except for his thoughts and worries over Mr Seo, other than that, the school wasn't causing him to rip off his hair so far. The teachers had decided to be merciful, for he hadn't received any homework yet, but he'd been told by elders that he should brace himself for the mountain of work he'd get as time went by.

A week in school had also taught Renjun the ways the school functioned. Apart from having the prefects, there were "unofficial safe seniors" who were the most trusted within their year group. They could swiftly take any issues, tackle them and prevent word from getting out of it so no gossip spreads. A secret procedure is done in silence, an important role to ensure no issues arise. Although sometimes some rumours do manage to break out, students don't speak loudly of it. However, safe seniors hadn't been chosen that year, since everyone assumed they wouldn't be needed.

Furthermore, one of the former students had opened an online website and an app for people attending high school. The app was simply called SHS- which was the initials of the school. Before the student left they'd give the admin role to someone they trusted. That person, who was always referred to as Lake for a strange reason, was in charge of running the site, where drama, gossip, information exchange and plenty more happened. New students joining would receive a small, business-like card with their name, birthday and login details. Students leaving would simply have to leave their cards in their locker so their accounts could be removed. It surprised Renjun how the teachers hadn't found out.

An unspoken rule about the app was that no names were to be revealed in public announcements or chats. It was simply stated by admins and the owner themselves that if speaking of any gossip or rumours, you should not involve anyone's actual name or any other personal details you may possess, otherwise there would be consequences. It was an outlined rule that everyone followed since they didn't want to be banned or locked out of their account. Anything was allowed in personal messages, but public ones had their restrictions.

The students acted innocent in front of teachers, but online it was alive with bubbly people and trading of information. Renjun enjoyed speaking to others and listening to the drama. As long as he didn't get involved, he would be fine.

"Jaemin I told you I don't want to come to the park," whined Renjun as he was dragged by his best friend.

The said male ignored Renjun's pleas to return home and curl up by the window to read a book he'd recently bought as they walked towards the bridge over the small lake. "Get as much sunlight as you can because once October comes you're going to be clinging onto me because you're cold and want to warm up."

"That's a different story," the Chinese tried protesting. "Besides, why so suddenly head for the park?"

"Hyuck wanted to introduce us to his boyfriend and friend since they were both available."
