For some reason, the academic year seemed to be moving sluggishly, for the time was taking its sweet time. To Renjun, it seemed that the clocks and the world had taken a disliking towards him. Why? Every time he walked past Mr Seo, time slowed down and everything seemed to go in slow motion as Renjun was able to notice small details about the way the teacher acted around him. He was wary of his actions, but most of all, Mr Seo's eyes when looking at Renjun. They seemed dark, full of evil; not trustworthy.

"Ok, maybe you're being delusional. He was your tutor when you were younger too, why are you like this?" Renjun scolded himself one particular afternoon as he was standing by his locker, taking out his books.

He was too zoned out to notice Jeno approaching him and was snapped from his thoughts when the male tapped his shoulder before gently shaking him to his senses.

"Hm?"

"You were just standing there staring off into space," chuckled Jeno. "Since there's still time until our next lesson, want to walk on the fields?"

Renjun furrowed his brows with a tiny pout. "It's freezing though," he complained.

"So? Wear your jacket and let's go! Come on." Jeno made the Chinese wear his jacket before dragging him along the hall, where there were people checking phones, lockers or simply chatting.

Whilst they were walking, Mr Seo suddenly walked in since he used a classroom as a shortcut and stood directly in front of the two boys, who were previously giggling. He had a folder in one hand and his suit was crisp, only, his first three buttons were undone.

"Renjun and Jeno, my beloved students! How are you both doing?"

A few students stopped to watch. Mr Seo was usually a strict teacher, who didn't smile nor communicate with students. Yet here he was, in the middle of the hall, striking a conversation with two 10th graders.

Renjun was oblivious to Mr Seo's behaviour since he was keeping a distance, so replied to questions about school when asked by the male. However, Jeno could notice the way Mr Seo lightly inched closer, gazed at Renjun with lust-filled eyes, licked his lips with a smirk. He was more than surprised when Mr Seo's hands went flying up as he unnecessarily fiddled with Renjun's first button and loosened the tie, making the Chinese go stock-still. By then, no one paid attention to the teacher's behaviour as he sent a wink and stalked off, giving both of them goosebumps.

"I don't like Mr Seo one bit," revealed Jeno before turning to Renjun, who was silent and frowning. "Let's quickly go outside to talk."

They were sitting on the bench under the big oak tree in the corner of the field. At every stroke of wind, more crisp leaves let go of their home before spinning through the sky, plunging downwards to lie flat on the floor, more leaves following the cycle. Jeno leaned forwards and clasped Renjun's hands between his.
