Adrien felt incredibly happy, when his father came into his room to ask him, if he wanted to have a movie night with him and Nathalie and exclaimed:

"Of course, father, I'd love that!"

Then he remembered. He was supposed to meet with Ladybug later that night.

"Actually", he began reluctantly, "would you be mad, if I went to bed right after the movie? It kinda was a tough day and I am really exhausted."

"I'm fine with that, Adrien", he agreed, a little part of him already thinking of his assistant and the time he would be able to spend alone, when Adrien would be asleep.

He quickened his steps at the mere thought and rushed towards the living room, with the large screen, they barely used.

When Gabriel entered through the open door, he almost crashed into Nathalie, who was just about to fo to her own room and change into something more comfortable.

"Sorry dear, I didn't mean to make you fall for me that easily", he mused.

She didn't even try to react to that and quickly passed him, again with a deep blush, to rush into her room, slamming the door shut.

The tall man flinched, then sighed deeply and followed his young assistant to her bedroom.

"Nathalie", he called her name, as he knocked gently on her door.

"I'll be right back, I'm just changing into something less suffocating. Maybe you should consider that too", she exclaimed.

Then she added more quietly:

"If you have any comfortable clothes at all!"

He scoffed as he heard her say that and went into his bathroom to get his favourite pyjama. After changing into it, he just grabbed a supersoft blanket from his closet and hurried back to call dibs on the best place on the sofa. But to his disappointment, he arrived there last. Still, what he saw made him smile.

Adrien had rolled himself into a ball on a large armchair, while Nathalie was sitting on one side of the sofa in a straight position.

The assistant had chosen two movies, a romantic comedy at first and after that the latest horror movie, that was said to be quite nerve wrecking.

Adrien apologised right after the first movie was over and ran back to his room, to transform, hoping Ladybug wouldn't be too mad.

Gabriel smiled at Nathalie's almost terrified expression. She wasn't sure, if she could handle to be alone with hi, if he acted the way, he did today. Yet she started the movie anyway and despite being used to horror movies, she soon wished, she had decided for anything else. This wasn't just nerve wrecking, it shook all her believes and brought out her deepest and darkest fears.

Gabriel noticed, how anxious she felt, but he didn't say anything. Instead he scooted a little closer and laid his arm around her shoulders. Feeling her shaking from fear and by the now chill air around them, he pulled her to his chest and wrapped the blankets around both of them.
