Inktober 11th Lucky charm

While they were dancing as closely, they slowly forgot everything around them. And for the time they did, nothing seemed to matter, until the music stopped due to a short, technical disruption.

Gabriel smirked down at Nathalie, who looked gorgeous in the blue dress, she wore and asked:

"Would you like something to drink, dear? I certainly need something right now!"

"Yeah, why not?! I saw this sign saying, that they have a new cocktail, the 'Lucky Charm'. I would like to try it!", Nathalie replied.

"'Luck Charm'?" Is there a 'Cataclysm' too?", Gabriel asked with a wink as they stood in front of the bar.

"Actually, there is", shouted the bartender, "but it's kinda strong!"

The designer smirked, as he ordered:

"We'll have one Lucky Charm and one Cataclysm then!"

The beverages arrived a couple of minutes later.

"Nathalie's 'Lucky Charm' was served in a thin, long glass, with an even thinner stem and contained a bitter-sweet, red fluid, with round, black ice balls, which were obviously made of black currants juice.

Gabriel's 'Cataclysm' arrived in a deep black glass, while the drink itself was of a poisonous green and was steaming from some pieces of dry ice. The smell alone made him aware, that this was most likely made of 'la fée verte', commonly known as Absinth.

Nathalie was the first to try her cocktail and sighed contently.

"It's delicious", she told her boss, "how's yours?"

Gabriel took a small zip through the black straw and started to cough. Then he tried again, without the strong reaction this time, but with tears brimming his eyes.

"Strong!", he croaked hoarsely, making the beautiful assistant giggle.

"Let me try!", she demanded and bent down to reach the straw with her lips, as he was still holding the glass in his hand.

"Wow", she said after clearing her throat, "it's quite strong. If you can't handle it, we can switch!", the young woman suggested.

But Gabriel was too proud for that.
