Chapter twelve: Are you not afraid?

Warning: this chapter will contain smut at the end with Jotun Loki. I will put where it will start and end.

Y/n POV:

He sat on the couch and waited for me to do the same. I was standing and waiting for him to talk. He sighed then said, "Are you not going to sit?"

"No" I said in an angry tone.

He shook his head then said "Y/n please don..."

"Five minutes remember. So, start talking." I said interrupting him. While crossing my arms around my chest.

"I know what I did was unforgivable but it was for your own good. I know I should have told you at least that I'm leaving, but I know that you would not let me go." He said while looking at the ground he then continued "Y/n I know that I'm avoiding telling you the reason why I left, because I know once I do you will leave me for sure. And I wouldn't blame you if you did"

I let my hands down and said "what do you mean? Be more specific Loki"

"You don't need to know, I guess I'm just here to apologize to you that is all" he said while standing ready to leave.

I said in a serious tone "Sit back" he looked at me for a while like he was saying goodbye. I repeated "I said sit back. We are not done here" he sat back and I sat next to him. "Now be more specific with what you said and tell me the reason, because you owe me this. So, whether you like it or not you are not leaving this house till I get some answers."

He looked at me shocked not expecting those words from me. I was always this shy, nervous, submissive girl to him. He never saw this part of me. the tough, angry, and demanding girl. He said "before the mission when we were in your chambers, I thought you were hiding something from me. because you keep wanting to say something then you changed your mind. That's why I was cold and ignoring you before the mission. I wanted to punish you because of the way you acted because you did not tell me what's on your mind, because you did not trust me Y/n" he looked at me and saw how angry I was at his stupid and childish behavior.

"You mean to tell that all of this was just because I was hesitating to say what was on my mind that day?" I said in an angry tone

"Not just that" he said in a low tone not wanting to continue. Not wanting to say the real reason.

"YOU BETTER START SPEAKING LOKI" I yelled at him angry and frustrated. He looked at me like he wanted to kill me for raising my voice at him. I did not care, to be honest, I just need to know why he did all of this.

"SPEAK TO ME WITH RESPECT. I AM NO CHILD TO YOU" he yelled back

"WELL STOP ACTING LIKE ONE. BE A MAN AND TELL ME WHY YOU LEFT ME. WHY DID YOU BREAK MY HEART LIKE THAT LOKI" I said tears in my eyes. I continued trying to hold my cries back but my eyes betrayed me "Why did you make me trust you? Care about you? Love you?"

"What did you say?" he said shocked at the last part

"You heard me the first time" I said not wanting to repeat it

"Say it again please" he said pleading while holding my hands in his.

"I love you Loki" I said in a sad tone

He looked at me with sad eyes "You cannot love me Y/n" he said letting my hands go.

I wiped my tears then looked at him and said "what do you mean by that"

"I am a monster Y/n. you can't love a monster" he said almost crying.

"You're not a monster Loki, stop saying that" I said feeling bad that he is calling himself a monster. "Please Loki, tell me what's wrong"
