Chapter 5:: Presence

Author's POV: 

"Hah! Done. Now you can sleep in peace." You spoke as he smiled saying, "Thank you. I have something for you. Wait here." before running out of the house.
"I know he runs super fast but sometimes it makes me scared." You sighed speaking before resting on the bed. Suddenly you saw a paper near the bed. There was something written in Chinese. 

Thanks to Taehyung, you were learning how to read and write. And you had almost learnt it all. 

"Should I try reading it? It will be a good practice." You said to yourself before trying to read what was written on the paper. 
"She...beautiful? Ah... I am not quite sure about this word. Light? Smile... magnificent? What does this mean?" You asked yourself trying to read it when suddenly you flinched hearing a voice. 

"What are you doing?" Taehyung asked startling you.
"At least inform me before you come... And I was just- trying to read this. But it's hard." You spoke as Taehyung looked at the paper before looking at you with wide eyes. 
"That's- You shouldn't touch things without my permission." He spoke taking it from you as you pouted.
"Sorry?" You said as he coughed before saying, "Anyway, I got these for you. Since you like them a lot... and you helped me." He handed you a bunch of lilacs as you gasped. 

"Did you pick them just now? So fast?" You asked as he replied, "Ah, no- there were some near the house." You nodded taking them as a bright smile appeared on your lips. 
"Thank you.." You said before looking at him who smiled warmly at you. The ecstatic feeling in your heart never left as you looked at him with a smile and seeing him reciprocate that beautiful smile made it even more special. 

"Do you want to go to the pond on the other side of the forest today?" You asked smiling as he looked at you before looking outside. 
"It's 2 pm right now. You have been with me for a long time. You should go back and have lunch with your mother. We can go tomorrow." He spoke as you looked at him confused. 
"Why? You don't want to go with me?" You asked as he smiled saying, "I do but not today. I have to visit somewhere. You go home. I will drop you." You sighed nodding as he chuckled. 

"How much more time do you want to spend with me?" He asked as you just looked away before saying, "Fine... let's go. When did I ever deny?!" You spoke walking out as he giggled at your childishness. 

You both walked towards the exit of the forest while chatting. You didn't want to go back. You just wanted to keep spending time with him but knowing he had other plans was a little sad. But you didn't mind, it was the first time he was going somewhere else rather than staying with you.

"We are here." He spoke as you smiled nodding.
"Go home! Eat well." He spoke as you replied, "You too." He smiled at you as you both stood there for a while you let out a calm breath looking at him. He chuckled before placing a light peck on your forehead as you blushed looking away. 

"See you." He spoke going back as you waved at him before walking towards your house. You were still smiling while touching your forehead going home not noticing the boy behind you watching you go back safely. 
"She's special to me." He spoke looking down before touching his chest feeling something inside of him. 

-At your house- 

"Ah... I don't feel hungry at all. Where on earth even is he..?" You asked yourself before sighing. It was almost a normal thing for you to think about him while doing just anything. You didn't know why you were always thinking about him. How he's doing, what he's doing, if he ate or not, if he was fine or not. Though you would be with him for a long time every day, you missed him. He was the only comfort zone for you, the only one who you trusted wholeheartedly.
