Eventually, more people leave, and only a handful of you are left watching the movie. Sidney and Billy still haven't come downstairs, and Tatum is nowhere to be found. So you remain with the others for now. All of you are slightly buzzed at this point, having chugged a few beers. You're zoned out a little, wondering where Tatum went and what kind of sins Sidney and Billy are committing in the bedroom upstairs. You can't lie; you're a little jealous of Sidney at this moment. You don't know whether it's just being close to Billy or sex, you don't know. You zone back into the party when Randy jumps up from the couch, beer in hand. He begins his tangent on the rules of horror movies. Being a horror movie buff yourself, you had to agree with them. Too bad you've already broken a few. But you don't expect to be in a horror movie any time soon, even though it feels like your life is a giant horror movie right now.

"Don't ever say you'll be right back. It's a death wish," Randy says, moving his hand along with the glass bottle in it.

"I'm grabbing another beer. Want one?" Stu asks Randy, his red robe now discarded, his favorite cream-colored sweater hanging on him loosely.

"Yeah, sure," Randy says ironically, after suggesting drinking and drugs are against the horror movie rules.

"Okay, I'll be right back!" Stu jokes, holding out his arms while walking backward.

Everyone laughs, including you, while Randy annoyedly sighs, "Okay, don't blame me when there's a knife sticking out of your back!"

After a while, Stu doesn't actually come back, and part of you is stupidly worried he did get stabbed. So, you get up and wander to the kitchen, looking around to see no one. This was all very weird. You sort of know where Billy and Sidney are, but Tatum and Stu have vanished. You walk back into the living room to see Randy on the telephone, who then turns around with a sickening look on his face.

"They found Principal Himbry dead. He was gutted and hanged from the goalpost on the football field," Randy says, looking at everyone with a sad expression.

Everyone begins to get up, wanting to check out Himbry's body before the police take it down. The thought of it makes you a little sick, knowing the killer got another person, especially another person everyone knew. You and Randy stay behind, but you don't stick around for the movie. You start searching for your friends instead.

You hope you don't walk into your friends having sex when heading upstairs. However, it'd be better than finding them dead. You slowly walk down the hall to Stu's parents' room, making sure to skip all of the creaky parts of the floor you've memorized. When you approach, you are not expecting to see what you do.

"Oh my god, oh my god, Billy, watch out!" Sidney cries out, her eyes on the masked figure standing behind Billy.

You're very close to the bedroom; you're in the hallway where you can't be seen by anyone in the room. As the person begins to stab Billy, you try to remain as quiet as possible. Anger and fear bubble inside of you, and as the killer wipes his knife before going after Sidney, you run and jump onto his back.

"You fucker!" you scream, punching and smacking the killer's head and shoulders, "Sidney, run!"

She's able to run by you and the murderer and into the hall. Meanwhile, you're harshly thrown onto the floor. Ghostface is now hovered over you, a knife in both hands, ready to plunge into you. You hold your breath and prepare for your last moments. But then Sidney screaming for help distracts him, causing him to abandon you and go after wherever Sidney is.

Still lying on the floor and processing what just happened, you fully realize Billy was just viciously stabbed, if not killed. You slowly sit up, your back stiffened from the impact of the floor.
