The bus boy - wilbur soot X reader

Y/ns Pov:

I sat down on Tommy's bed and sighed. I didn't realise how stupid I was being saying yes to being wilburs girlfriend that quick. My phone pinged and I looked to see what it was.
 
                         Wilbur

W: I didn't get chance to say anything but hey, don't worry I completely understand, I did think it was a bit fast too but I was just having so much fun with you I forgot all that. And I'll let you work things out, when your ready to start things up again let me know and if you never wanna start things up again that's okay too:)

Y: thanks will, sorry to bring this all up now. I know it's not the best place to tell you

W: dw, I'll text tommy about the situation so he doesn't say anything if that would make you more comfortable?

Y: Yeah, thanks will:)

W: np:)

I put my phone down and will walked into the room. He smiled at me and sat down on the end of the bed. Tommy looked down at his phone then up at us. He nodded and started up stream. He began talking to the chat and he invited wilbur on screen. I was gonna be next. Wilbur held out his hand and looked at me. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me on screen.
" guys, please stop shipping wilbur and y/n!" Tommy sighed looking at the chat. Now I felt awkward. Me and wilbur were still gonna be the best of friends... I hoped.
"No no, its okay chat don't worry. Aslong as wilburs comfortable?" I smiled looking at wilbur. He nodded.
"Yeah... I'm comfortable". The stream went on for a while. I began to get tired so I said bye to chat and made my way downstairs. I went in the kitchen to get myself a glass of water.
"Hello lovely, you must be y/n?" A warm voices said. I jumped a little, I was so deep in my thoughts even the sweetest of voice would've satrtled me. I saw that it was Tommy's mum that was talking to me. I smiled and nodded.
"Are you allright?" She asked.
I pinched the bridge of my nose and sighed.
"Yeah I'm okay, I just broke up my boyfriend. Except I probably shouldn't have because I still like him... alot! But it was way too fast. I've only known him for a little while. So I'm beating myself up on whether or not I made the right decision or not" I admitted. I sighed again realising I'd shared too much. I allways over shared with strangers. It was one of my weaknesses.
"Well I'm assuming your talking about wilbur? I saw you two holding hands on your way in". I nodded.
"You made the right decision I belive. If you've only known him for a bit then you don't know him well enough to be dating him. If you still like him then get to know him for a little longer and then maybe start dating him again when your ready. " she handed me a glass of water.
"Thankyou, your right" I smiled once again and headed to the living room feeling a lot better. I put the TV on and sat on the sofa. I watched an episode or two of Gotham and my eyes git heavier and heavier until I drifted off to sleep.

Wilburs Pov:

"By chat! I'm gonna go get some sleep now, see ya tommy" I hummed and walked downstairs. I stepped into the living room to see y/n asleep on the big sofa. I smiled and noticed she didn't have a blanket. I got the blanket from the back of the sofa and tucked it around y/n. As I was doing so Tommy's mum walked in. She smiled at me and then noticed what I was doing.
"Your lucky kiddo, she seems to love you very much. Just give her some time okay" she whispered, being careful not to wake y/n up. I nodded and looked back at y/n, tucking her hair behind her ear. She looked so beautiful when she slept, Mrs Simons was definitely right. I am lucky.
"Night y/n" I whispered giving her a peck on the forhead. I grabbed the other blanket and snuggled up on the sofa. My eyes grew heavy and I drifted off to sleep.

Y/ns Pov:

I woke up to one of Tommy's dogs licking my face, obviously Tommy and wilbur were laughing in the background.
"Urgh! Fucking dog slobber for breakfast?!" I sat up straight away and wiped the slobber away with my sleeve. My lips curled into a smile as I thought of an idea to get back at the boys for laughing at me. I got up, ran over to them and wiped my slobbery sleeve over both their faces. Tommy jumped up screaming and ran to the bathroom. Wilbur just laughed it off and wiped it away with his sleeve. Me and wilbur  laughed as we heard tommy still screaming in the bathroom upstairs.
"Did you sleep well?" Wilbur asked sipping his coffee. I nodded and replied
"Yes thanks, I fell asleep watching Gotham! It's my favourite show, I'll have to show you it sometime. Anyway enough about that, how did you sleep?" I smiled and sat up on the sofa.
"I slept good thankyou, is Gotham to do with batman or something??".
"Yeah, it starts when Bruce Wayne was a kid, when his parents were murdered. It's more about the crimes that go on in the city rather than the whole batman thing. It doesn't really have a main character, though I'd say if there were it would be detective Jim Gordon or Bruce Wayne. But it focuses on a lot of other characters too. Sorry I rambled on a bit there, it is to do with batman as it has some same characters in it" I sighed thinking I'd bored wilbur instead of answering his question.
"No no, go on! I love hearing you talk about things you love, your so enthusiastic" He hummed and put his coffee down. I went on for ages about Gotham, my favourite characters, my opinions on the plot, my favourite episode, my predictions, everything you could imagine. He smiled tge whole time. I knew I hadn't made a mistake by breaking up with him, because I knew I'd be with him when I am ready. And for me that is enough, to know that I can still be with him but when I'm ready, is enough to keep me going for a while.
" I'm gonna fucking kill you y/n!" Tommy snarled as he stomped down the stairs. I burst out laughing and wilbur giggled.
