Chapter23: No Harm?

When I stepped out of Kai's house, rain was pouring down.

"OH SH*T! I didn't bring my umbrella." I mumbled. I turned back to Kai's house but is words strike me. "I SAID GO AWAY"

I sighed. I took out my phone and switched it on. While I was waiting for it to be OFFICIALLY on, there was a taxi slowly stopping. One guy alighted the taxi and ran towards me. I didn't manage to recognise him but when he was near, I realized it was Sehun. Oh my god.

"Se-" I couldn't say finish because he hugged. I was about to say something but hugged me tighter. "S-Sehun... I... can't.. breath" I said. He released the hug and softly held my shoulders. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you, or any?" He asked. I shook my head. I smiled, "Thank you so much for caring about me:)". "Don't thank me so fast! I am still very UPSET with YOU!!" He frowned. "Really?" I pouted, I know that he can't resist my cuteness. "Stop pouting" He said and pinched my lips together. "ESPECIALLY in front of boys EXCEPT for me" He added and released my lips. I smiled, realising how cute Sehun is.

Kai POV
After calling my noona for help, I walked towards the door's peephole. I saw both Sehun and SooHee were cuddling, they were so close to each other an teasing each other. I rolled my eyes and walked back to my room.

I slammed my bedroom door, and mumbled, "Just watch... If today she wasn't mine, tomorrow she WILL BE MINE. I will let you, Oh Sehun, SUFFER no matter what happen."

SooHee POV
"ESPECIALLY in front of boys EXCEPT for me" Sehun said. I smiled, "Sehun you're so SOO cute.". He frowned even more, "What? Cute? I am very angry right now. And I will punish you when we reach your house.". I chuckled and said, "I bet you wouldn't dare to punish me, because I know you can't stand seeing me suffer." He kept quiet. I smirked and questioned, "Right? Am I right?". He gave up and nodded his head, "Yup! You are right! Can I sent my princess home now?". I smiled, "Yes, my prince".

We walked together under one umbrella. We went to the roadside and took a taxi home. On the way, Sehun asked, "What happen there?". I looked at my phone and replied him, "What do you mean?". "H-How's Kai?" He asked. I looked away from my phone and stared blankly for awhile before answering Sehun, "H-He... He is so different. He wasn't the cheerful Kai anymore. Plus... is his house always this messy? Can we come back to his house tomorrow?". Sehun widen his eyes and repeated your question, "What... Go to his house TOMORROW? AGAIN?!". I nodded my head and replied, "Yes, I know you don't want me to get hurt but I see no harm in him, he is just... a bit... emotional.". Sehun scoffed, "No harm... I see A LOT OF harm in him. Can we just leave everything alone?" He took my hand stroke it softly, "Time is the only thing could help us and even Kai. Kai needs time to heal. So, we just leave him alone, okay babe?" I nodded.

What Sehun had said was true. Kai needs time to heal. I sighed. Why is life so complicated?
