Chapter25: Kai Is In Trouble

After all those chessy conversation, we went back to Sehun's car. We sat on the car's bonnet.

"H-Hey..." Sehun broke the silence.

"Hmm?" My respond.

"What time is it?" He asked. I raised my wrist and looked at my watch. "4 p.m. Why?"I questioned. He shook his head and said, "Nah~ It's nothing... I just want to steal a kiss from you.". Immediately, he pecked his warm lips onto my cheek.

I was stunned but was able to snap back to reality. I quickly punched his bicep. He whined . However, I know he is lying. "Stop whining, I know it's not painful."I commented. He rolled his eyes and replied, "I thought you would apologise and comfort me... But I am totally wrong." He showed me a sad and depressing expression. I chuckled at his reaction.

When he turned his head and focused at the things in front of him. I immediately planted my lips on his cheek. He speedy turned around embraced me in his arms. "Cheeky SooHee~" Sehun whispered. I replied, "No~ I am not cheeky.". Sehun released me and asked, "So, if you are not cheeky, what are you?".

I thought for awhile and replied him with an aegyo voice, "I am pretty~". Sehun chuckled. I widened my eyes and questioned, "Why are you laughing? Am I not pretty?". He shook his head and replied, "You're the prettiest girl that I've met in my life.". He slowly leaned towards my face. I could felt his nose tip was touching mine. I smelled his scent, not strong but it could calm my down. When our lips were about to touched, my phone rang.

RING! RING!

Sehun moved to his original position while rubbing his back of his neck, feeling embarrassed.

I snapped back to reality and answered the call. I realized it was Kai, who called me.

"Hello?" I said.
"S...SooHee... h-help..." He said.
Before I could ask more, he hung up the phone.

I looked at Sehun, who was staring at the scenery. "Sehun..." I called him. He immediately turned around. "I think we should end our date here... Kai just now called me and asked for help. I am worried that something has happened to him.". I noticed he frowned but he replied, "It's okay... Let's go check out on Kai just.".

We reached Kai's house. When Sehun was about to knocked the door, I stopped him. "Trust me, he wouldn't open the door." I said. "Then, how?"He asked with a confused look. I bent down and flipped over the carpet. "WOW! How do you discover it?" Sehun asked. I smirked to him and whispered, "Secret".

I unlocked the lock, and realized there was no one in the living room. I tapped Sehun, "Oppa, you search at this level, I will be searching at the second level, okay?". He nodded and said, "Be safe, if anything happen... scream my name, okay?". I smiled to him to assure him.

I went up to level 2, everything was so dark. Not for long, I saw a room, I slowly pushed open the door. However, I realized there is no one there.

Are you okay, Kai?

I stepped out from that room and continued to search for Kai. Strolling to the next room, hoping Kai is there. I slowly pushed open the door. I saw the lights were switched on. "K-Kai? Are you there?" I asked softly. But there is no reply, I called again, "Kai?". As a go deeper into the door, I heart beat increase, I don't know why but... I felt scared.

"Glad you came." A deep voice broke the silence. I focused on my vision and realized it was Kai.

He looks totally not like him. He used to be cheerful and there will be always a smile on his face but now.... his smile disappeared, his cheerful spirit had vanished.

I started to step back and planning to escape. I admit I am timid but he is really scary, he is not the Kai, I used to know. I noticed his smirked. "Why do you look like you are scared of me? Am I a... monster?" He asked while raising one of his eyebrows.

Don't come near me, please!

"SE-" Before I could scream Sehun's name, Kai knocked me down. I blinked my eyes and slowly, it became totally dark.

Narrator POV
"Shhhhh.... I don't like people screaming in my house." Kai said caressing SooHee left cheek.
