Chapter4: Stopping

Morning having breakfast with parents

As usual I will have my breakfast with my parents before going to school. My dad is a CEO of J Company. He started a topic,

“SooHee, are you free on Saturday?”

“Yeah… But morning I’m not free.”

“Okay, come with me for a dinner with my business partner.”

“Okay... :( “

I really hate going on a dinner with my dad’s business partner. It is very bored period. He and his business partner will be like talking about the company and I will be left out.

Today was different, my dad send me to school. I prefer him sending me to school rather than letting me going to school ALONE.

Sehun POV

I was hoping that today I will see SooHee in the bus but I didn’t. What happen to her? Is she sick?

I saw a white Mercedes stopping at the school bus stop and SooHee came out of the car.

“SooHee!”  I called while peeking into the car and saw a middle-aged man.

“Oh! Hi, this my dad, dad this is Sehun.”

“Good morning sir.”

“Good morning, Sehun”

History Lesson 

“Okay class, get into your groups. Today we will be doing our project in class.” Our History teacher commands.

When we get into our groups, the five of us just stares at each other. Suddenly, Hana speaks up,

“Erm… Sehun and JongIn, can you guys go find some sources like pictures about the topic? Chanyeol, can you find some evident like paragraphs about the topic?”

“Nae!” They replied and went away.

“How about us?” I asked.

“We will wait for them” a smirk appeared on her face.

Kai POV

Should I ask if Sehun is falling in love with SooHee?

“Sehun…”

“Yes?”

“Do… do you-“

“Do I like SooHee?” Sehun cut my sentence before I could finish.

“Yes! Yes, I like her! Why? You like her?” He continued.

“Yah! I like her more than you do!” I said while walking closer to him and whispered,

“Sehun, I know you are a smart person, so I will just warn you once, stay away from her.”

“I don’t want… Why? Why should I listen to you?!” Sehun shouted right in front of my face.

I could felt the anger that Sehun have while he was shouting at me. However, that will not stop me from liking SooHee.

After School

Kai POV

After that incident, I didn’t go back to class. I went to the school’s rooftop. I really like the scenery up there. It makes me felt relax.  

Sometimes, I felt very jealous of Sehun. He is rich, he is handsome most of the girls in this school like him but me… Nobody have ever gave me a letter or present during Valentines’ Day or any event. I am not that rich as Sehun but I really like SooHee.

‘SooHee, I hope you can hear me now… I like you.’ I thought myself.

SooHee POV

After History lesson I did not see Kai. I got worried and right after the last lesson, I quickly pack my stuff and ran out of the classroom to find Kai but I was block by Sehun.

“Why are you rushing?” he asked you.

“Nothing… I- It’s nothing.” I stuttered.

“Really? So, can I send you home today?” he continued asking.

“Sorry… but I am in a rush.” I said and quickly run away.

I turned back and shouted, “I’M SORRY, SEHUN!!!”

I ran around the school calling Kai’s name. I went up to the rooftop and saw a familiar-figured man.

Sehun POV

I felt so heartbroken after what Kai and SooHee told me. Kai told me to back off and stay away from SooHee. While in the other hand, SooHee rejects my offer, is she falling for Kai or really, she is in a rush?

Kai POV

I am listening to Ken [VIXX] - My Girl while admiring the scenery.  Suddenly I heard the door open and someone shouted my name,

“Kai! JongIn!”

I turned back and saw SooHee panting.. I quickly went to her and let her on the bench. I knee in front of her and ask,

“Are you finding me?”

“Yes... Why didn’t you attend lessons after History class?”

“You worry about me?” I smirked.

“N-NO! Who say I am worried about you!”

SooHee POV

Am I too obvious?

“N-NO! Who say I am worried about you!”  I quickly denied.

“Hahaha. You are! Don’t lie!” He teases.

“By the way, why did disappear?” I continued ask.

He paused and continued, “The scenery is nice, right? Whenever something unhappy happen I will not tell anyone but I will come here and clam myself.”

“Why don’t you talk to anyone about your unhappiness, maybe they will help?”

Kai POV

Soohee, you are too naïve. You don’t know my background. I stare blankly into her innocence eyes. She continued,

“Maybe I can help you! Just tell me! Tell me!” She is doing aegyo now…

“Soo CUTE!” I pinched her cheeks.

We continued and make fun of each other, laugh and have fun.

SooHee POV

Actually, I realized Kai have a soft side.
