Chapter16: Homework

After the conversation with Sehun, he decided to send me home. I rejected but he insists.

“SooHee-ah… I will send you home, since you took care of me.” Sehun said.

“You always send me home…” I said sarcastically. Both of us started laughing. “Since you’re sick, you should go home straig-“ Before I could say finish, Sehun covers my mouth with his hand. I could feel my cheeks burning. “I insist to send you home. It’s okay about my health, I am feeling better now.” I quickly wipe his hand away from my mouth and said, “Then let’s go…” After I end the conversation, I quickly walked out. Suddenly Sehun shouted, “YAH! Wait for me! I am still a patient!”

The Next Day

Sehun POV

I felt so boring staying on bed for the whole day. What’s happening in school? What is SooHee doing now? I took my phone and wanted to message her but I looked at the time, thinking that she must be having lesson now, so I throw away my phone on my bed. I took the remote control and switched on the television, change channels again and again…

SooHee POV

Now I am attending Math lesson, but, my mind is wondering elsewhere. I stared at Sehun seat, I murmured, “He is not here. Get well soon” I placed my chin on top of my palm. Hana turned her head and whispered, “Who are you talking about?” I turned to her and saw her smirking, I turned back to my previous position. She started to elbow me. “Who?” She asked again. I muttered and hope she didn’t hear, “Sehun…” She nodded her head and said, “Even though, I can’t hear you but I know it’s Sehun, right?”

Suddenly, the teacher slammed her marker on her table and said, “Both of you, if you don’t mind, can you both lower your volume?” Both of us nodded and laughed secretly.

After awhile, “Okay class, that’s all for today.” The teacher walked out  of the class, suddenly she turned around and said, “Sorry class, I forgotten to notice you guys that next week there will be a test. Remember to revise, okay?” After the teacher walked out, the whole class started to complain. I stared at Sehun seat and thought, ‘What are you doing now? Sleeping? Reading? Since exam is coming should I collect his home work and send it to him? Should I?’ Suddenly, someone tapped my shoulder, I was shocked, I slowly turn around and realized it was Kai. He smiled and took one random chair and sit in front of me,

“Are you shock?” He asked.

I slightly nodded. He showed a regret face and said, “Mianhae…”

“Apology accepted” I said with a playful tone. “What happen to you? I didn’t saw you around these days…” I asked. “Nothing happen though.” He said. I showed him my disbelief face and asked, “Seriously, nothing?” He nodded and replied, “Seriously, nothing.” I smiled and said, “If anything happens,” I paused and pointed to my ears and continued “this ear of mine will always listen to your problem.” I smiled again to assure him.     

At Sehun house

Sehun POV

My maid said, “Sir, we prepared some food for you. Do you want to come down and have it for we will bring it up for you?” I smiled to her and said, “It’s okay. I will go down.”

When I reached the dining table, I saw a bowl of porridge. I sighed and wanted to ask if there are any more things that I could eat, but, I looked around and saw their exhausted faces, I changed my mind. I sat down and eat, suddenly I felt a little bit weird,

“Erm… Actually, you guys can go do your things. You guys, no need to stare at me eating.” I said to the maids. They bow and walked away. I felt a little bit relaxed now and leaned my back to the chair. Suddenly, my phone starts to vibrate. I muttered, “Who is calling me now?” I looked at my screen and wanted to declined the call be I blinked again and I saw SooHee’s name appeared. I put down my phone and arranged my hair and shirt. I gently pressed “answer”
