Chapter8: Busan [Part2]

SooHee POV

Thinking about what I said just now “My dad is arranging my marriage with S-Sehun.”, am I too childish? That’s only what Mr. Lee heard, maybe it’s not true and why am I so serious about it. After what I had thought, I felt sorry for Sehun, avoiding him and inorging him. ‘Sehun-ah… I’m sorry.’

Morning

The in-charge teacher told us to assemble and the hotel lobby at 9 in the morning and now it’s 8.45. Hana and I already woke up and prepared ourselves. We are going to an orphanage for two days to do our volunteering work. We brought presents and some candies for them but the present are suppose to be given out tomorrow.

When we arrived at the hotel lobby, I saw mostly all of them are assembling already. I whispered to Hana,

“Can I sit with you later in the bus?”

“Of course!” I said.

Hana POV

I should really protect SooHee from harm. I wouldn’t let her to get hurt again. But… She still needs to gather her courage and find her true love. Who will it be? Sehun? Kai? Or someone else? Suddenly SooHee snapped her finger in front of me,

“YAH! What are you thinking? Chanyeol? Haiz… let’s go aboard the bus.” I said.

I protest while walking to the bus, “N-No! W-Who is t-thinking about C-Chanyeol?!”

“Then… Why is your voice shaking?” She said and my face become red because of the embarrassment.  

We talk and laugh during the whole journey unlike yesterday, we cry like hell.

At Orphanage

SooHee POV

We arrived at the orphanage, children were running around. The in-charge teacher came to our group.

“Okay guys, I split you guys up into groups…” She said while looking at her documents.

I wish I would group with Chanyeol and Hana but I don’t want to be their third-wheel.

“Chanyeol and Hana, you guys will be doing the clean-ups. Sehun and SooHee will be having fun with the kids. Kai, you will be helping me with something, tomorrow you can join one of the groups.”

Everyone agreed except for me, I was staring blankly. Everyone started to move to their venue. But I was stop by Hana, she whispered to me,

“Are you okay? I mean, working with Sehun? If not, I can change with you.”

“No… Use this time to bond your relationship with Chanyeol. Don’t need to worry about me.” I whispered back to her.

At Corridor [Going to Classroom]   

Okay… Starting from now, I can’t avoid Sehun.

“What are you going to do with the kids?” I asked him.

“Erm… Play games?” He said.

“Okay… But before that, we need to introduce ourselves, right?” I smiled.

“Yah!” He smiled.

We knocked the door and came in to the classroom. Woah! The classroom is really nice. The ceiling is sky-blue and the walls are pastel colours, I felt so comfortable and relax. We went to the front of the classroom.

“Okay kids! These are our assistant teacher for today and tomorrow. Remember to treat them well.” The teacher said.

“Nae!” The children screamed.

Sehun started to introduce himself, “H-Hello guys! I am Oh Sehun, you guys can call me Sehun. Take care of me!” I continue, “Hello! I am SooHee, Jung SooHee. You can call me SooHee! Treat me well!” I waved.

Suddenly one of the boy called me, “SooHee noona[ big sister], yeppeun [pretty] noona!”

Everyone laughed. I blushed.

Sehun and I were helping the teacher to give out and collect the worksheets.

During Break

Sehun is playing with the children at the playground. I am not a hyper kid so I sat at the bench nearby looking at the scenery. Suddenly I felt like someone sat beside me, I turned around and I saw a little girl sitting beside me asking,

“Noona! Why are you not playing with us?”

“Noona is not good at games…” I smiled to her.

“It’s okay… Let’s play!” She said while pulling me.

“Ok!”

We decided to play “Hawk and Chickens”, the hawk are suppose to catch all the little chicks and the mother hen are suppose to protect her chicks. Sehun is the hawk, I am the mother hen and the rest of the kids are my chicks. :) Sehun is running around to distract my attention. He suddenly sprints to a little girl. I quickly ran up to him to protect my chick but in the end I hugged Sehun and I lost my balance and fall onto Sehun. Sehun’s and my face is so inches distance. Both of us were dumfounded, I quickly stand up and cover my face with my hand because I know that now I am blushing.

“NOONA FACE IS RED! VERY RED!!!” Suddenly someone said.

Kai POV

I am helping teacher to carry lots of documents in and out the orphanage. I was walking pass the playground I saw SooHee hugging Sehun and falling on top of Sehun. She quickly stands while covering her face and everyone were laughing and teasing her. I should be in Sehun position. I wanted to up to them but teacher stop me and ask me continue my work before going to play.

   

On the way back to hotel

SooHee POV

After the visit to the Orphanage, I realized that most parents of the children died during accident or even abandon them. My heart starts to ache.

“Are you okay? You look so pale” Hana asked while patting my back.

“I’m fine… I just felt so hurt… about the children there.” I said.

“Gwaenchanh-a [it’s okay] by the way did you talk to him today?” she asked.

“Him? Who?” I raised my eyebrow.

“Sehun…” She elbowed me.

“Oh… I did. Can I say something more personally and can you keep it as a secret between us?”

“Go ahead!” She said.

“Erm… I-I think I-I like S-Sehun…” I whispered into her ears.

“WHAT!” She shouted.

“Hana and Soohee, can you guys lower your volume?!” The teacher scolded.

“You finally admit! Are you gonna confess?”

Nope… Not now…” I said.
