Song Recommendation - Somebody To Love (Queen)

We had slept in the same bed. I woke up first.

It took me a couple seconds to realize you were there, but once I did, I could feel myself blush. At that moment I was so thankful that you were still asleep.

I remembered the night before had been filled with alcohol. Knowing that, the very first thing I checked was the clothes. I sighed of relief. Clothes on. I'm still PG-13.

And then I looked down to you. Your face was nuzzled into my chest and you had wrapped yourself around my torso. Your fluffy hair was covering your eyes.

I gazed at you sleeping peacefully and played with your hair for a while, until my forgotten and unwelcome alarm went off.

You groaned and began stretching away from me, against my unspoken wishes.

You groggily opened your eyes, looking up to me while yawning widely.

"Deamb?" You said, unable to say your 'R.'

"Wow, you sound weally nadally," I said, unintentionally copying your sinus-y voice.

We both began to laugh, and then both broke out in a fit of coughing and hacking.

"Why ah we talking like dis?" You said after we had both settled down.

I leaned against the wall next to my bed. "I have no idea."

"I dink we're dick."

"We're what?" I said, giggling lightly.

"Shud up!" You yelled, pushing me playfully as I tried to contain my laughter. "I mean we have colds!"

As the day wore on, we stayed in bed and eventually regained our voices and I felt much better just being in bed with you, but you still didn't feel your best.

"I have orange juice," I said. "Cranberry juice?"

"I'm sick, Dream," you said, stopping to cough. "I don't have a fucking UTI."

I raised my eyebrows. "Well, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed."

You sneezed and giggled. "No, I was on the left side of the bed. You were hogging the right one."

We spoke, laughed, and just... had a good time.

I loved hanging out with you

And I still do.

________

Dream woke up feeling awful. He was coughing, and sneezing, and Sapnap once again had to try to help him.

"Sap, you don't have to-"

"Jesus, Dream, just let me help you."

Dream sneezed and Sapnap handed him a box of tissues.

"Thanks."

"How'd you even get sick?"

"I brought George home last night and it started raining when I was walking out of his building. I must've been in it for too long."

"Oh. Is he okay, by the way?" Sapnap questioned, remembering Wilbur saying something about George running off. "I heard he didn't leave in a good mood."

"I went too far with teasing him, I guess. I found him in the bathroom and he wasn't very happy so I brought him back to his dorm."

"And that's all?" Sapnap got a carton of orange juice from their mini fridge, and a plastic cup from a box of party supplies.

"Yes, Sap, that's all."

Sapnap gave him the cup of orange juice, and looked at Dream like he had three heads when he smiled into the glass and began to laugh hysterically.

He obviously paid for it with a fit of coughs.

"Dude. What the fuck is wrong with you?" Sapnap asked, keeping his distance from the infected blonde.

Dream flopped back onto his bed and ran his fingers through his hair, brushing it out of his face. "I just had a funny dream."

Sap nodded slowly, eyeing Dream and grabbing a sweatshirt, his wallet, keys, and phone, and opened the door.

"I'm gonna go get you some food from the dining hall. Just don't die before I get back."

Dream sniffled. "I'll try. No promises."

"Oh, I have something to tell you later. It's about Karl."

Dream let out a raspy whistle and the shorter brunette chuckled.

Sapnap closed the door carefully, leaving Dream alone.

"I'll tell him everything about George and my dream later," Dream promised himself.

He stayed still for a while and relived last night. He remembered how much he wanted to kiss George instead of asking him that stupid question. And then he thought about how Sapnap wanted to get him girls, instead.

"...on second thought, maybe I won't."
