3RD PERSON'S POV ;;

Y/N was now standing outside her door, face to face with the one and only boy named Xiao.

"Ah- um..-" Y/N's eyes widened, as she couldn't get anything out. Her voice was completely silenced. Xiao only raised a brow, his arms crossed. She looked away, not wanting to make eye contact.

'Shit, this is so embarrasing-'

Y/n inhaled slowly, and calmly turned her head to face Xiao again. The two stare at each other for a bit, before Y/N breaks it by letting her eyelids fall. She exhales, opening her eyes once more before speaking.

"..Sorry for what I said downstairs this morning. I- wasn't really in a good mood, and I have a lot of things on my mind currently. It's no excuse, I just wanted to apologise. I get that you don't trust me, but y'know, friends have to start somewhere. Not saying we have to be friends, though."

Y/N looks away, with a calm attitude: not wanting to see the expression and reaction on Xiao's face. This was such a bad first - impression, and she knew it.

Meanwhile Xiao on the other hand ; his eyes slightly widen at the sudden apology. He didn't think a 'stubborn mortal' like her would give into apologizing.

Sure, on the outside he would act like, "No respect for us adepti" and stuff ; but he was somewhat like that in the inside too. But somehow, a tiny part of him was hoping she would apologise first.

"That's all. See ya." Y/N simply said, as she started walking away, heading off to Dilucs' room.

As she got farther and farther away, her straight - faced act began to fall as her face broke into an extreme redness.

She got to Diluc's door, but as she was about to knock, someone put a hand on her shoulder, making her jump in reflex.

That was until she turned around and spotted the familiar red hair before looking at the now known person's face.

"Diluc? I- you- uh.. I was wondering if you could please take Venti to his room? He's asleep on my bed." Y/N did not think about how off that sounded, therefore Diluc raising a suspicious brow at her.

She waited a few seconds before understanding what he was thinking.

"WAIT- NONO HE FELL ASLEEP ON MY BED WHILE I WAS PLAYING IT'S NOT LIKE THAT I SWEAR" Y/N's face went completely red again, trying to correct Dilucs' thoughts.

"Ah, so that is the case here. Very well. *sigh* That bard doesn't mind his actions at all sometimes." Diluc starts, as he and Y/N start walking over to her room to go get Venti.
