Aaron's pov
I just can't get her out of my head, Athena Cadman. Thea. The way she carried herself, the walls she put up, I just wanted to tear them all down. I wanted to see the real her that hides behind those dark eyes.
"Dude, its like all you know how to do is day dream lately. What the hell is up with you?" Marcus asked shaking my shoulders. I don't know. I never really fall for girls, I've kissed a few, been with one but never felt like this with any of them.
I honestly thought all hope was lost last year because of how much these pick me prep girls turned me off. The truth is I'd never met anyone as real as her. Not to mention beautiful and I don't mean that fake compliment, only word you can think of sort of way. She was stunning.
"Hellloo! Earth to Aaron!" Marcus snapped me back to reality. "Don't tell me it's a girl? Are you kidding me? Aaron Hastings you have NEVER fallen for a girl," I'm never going to hear the end of this.
I rolled my eyes as the bell rang and I've never been more relieved that it was Friday night again. Party night!
Walking out to the cars, Justin joined us and started ranting about tonight's party, "and guys there's NO ALCOHOL...NONE! We're gonna have to move it to another house or we're screwed!"
Tonight was planned to be at Justin's but apparently we need another house because come on, what's a party without alcohol? I remember Thea mentioning that she was coming so maybe I'll ask if she knows a place. Plus it gives me a reason to talk to her.
"I might know someone who can find a place." I exclaimed. Justin snapped up at me, "Seriously dude, I'd kiss whoever could find a house to throw this thing!" I'd rather him not kiss Thea but I really want to see her again, maybe talk to her a bit more and get her to open up.
She caught my eye with that gleaming smile, walking out of the main building. Breaking from the group I ran over to Athena and yelled, "Hey!" We locked eyes for a split second until she broke it, glancing back at the girl next to her. "Hi, Aaron...did you need something?" She asked a bit awkwardly.
"Yea so um you know the party that was supposed to be tonight at Justin's?" She nodded and I continued, "turns out there was an accident with the alcohol," quickly cutting me off, "and what's a party without alcohol?" She asked rhetorically. "That's what I said, anyways do you know anywhere else someone can host it?"
She looked up in thought for a few seconds and just when I thought I'd be hit with a sarcastic remark, "Yea actually I could just host it at the mansion I mean we have beer for days and it'll at least convince my parents I'm making friends or whatever."I didn't push for an explanation for the 'making friends' bit but I loved the idea that her solution not only solved my problem but made it easier for me to see this miserable house she's been going on about. "Yes, that's perfect! Do you need any help setting up?" I asked, hoping she would.
"No it's fine there's not much to set up but see you at 10?" She asked with a smile."Wouldn't miss it!" I said, a little too excitedly. Laughing she began walking with the girl again and I was left with the thought of what the hell I was going to wear tonight.

"T, was that water boy?" I completely forgot she was standing beside me for the conversation where I offered up my house to be trashed by hormonal teens. "Yes, why?"
"Because he's gorgeous and is obviously into you." She exclaimed."Wren I met him four days ago and talked to him for a couple hours, I barely know the guy." She looked at me like there wasn't a problem with falling for a guy I just met. "And stop looking at me like that you heard the man, party at my house, and I'm ready to wasted." She looked at me with a worried expression but covered it with a quick smile.

"Wren get the door I th-think there's more people!" I yelled over the already deafening music. She sent me a thumbs up and ran through the crowded hall to the door. Opening it I saw the last person that should be watching me dance drunkenly on a table for a bunch of handsy guys. Aaron. Dressed in a sexy v-neck and jeans I needed to get distract myself.
He looked up at me from across the room surprised but I couldn't be bothered. I was having fun. Trying to at least.
I felt a warm body wrap my hips from behind and turned to see that it was Max. Rolling my eyes I hated what I was about to do, but to be completely honest I was 6 shots in and wasn't planning on stopping anytime soon.So as he danced against me grinding I wrapped my hand around the back of his neck and leaned my head back , giving him access to kiss down my neck. Biting my sweet spot, I gasped and bit my lip, suddenly very aware that I'm dancing on my kitchen table with a guy I couldn't stand.
Just as I was about to make another stupid decision I felt a tug on my skin tight jeans. "Thea!" I heard a familiar voice exclaim and my eyes flew open breaking from the pleasure Max was offering me. Aaron! I looked down and grabbed his hands, jumping down from the table and throwing my arms around his neck. He looked stunned but I didn't care, I was happy he was here.
Aaron's pov
Walking in the house I was still in awe of the white and gold pillars that wrapped around the house I saw on the way in.
And I didn't miss the exceedingly large living space with a double staircases made of marble. She was right, it was all white, nothing out of place except the familiar face dancing on the kitchen table getting groped by some idiot that couldn't keep it in his pants.
After calling her down I noticed she was touchier tonight than I'd ever seen her and I didn't mind it one bit. What I did mind was the mouth of that neanderthal kissing her neck. I needed to stop, it wasn't like we were together she could do anything she pleased, I'd just rather it was with me.
"Hey you look like you got the fun started without me," I said playfully even though she was obviously pretty far gone. She gave me a sad smile and quietly said, "I figured it'd make the whole 'I'm okay' thing more believable." I looked down at her and tried to pull her out of that train of thought, "so you gonna get me caught up or what?" She quickly nodded and stumbled guiding me over to the drinks.
